My keeper just got slide tackled and has gone off injured!

One of the opposition did a slide tackle to try and win the ball in my area, and he caught my keeper. I've never seen this before. Has this happened to anyone else?

Also, I was wondering what the best way to sell players is. Should I price them at their true worth, or should I put the transfer value above or below what they're worth?

Well, this is a curious thing! At the end of the game, the player who I brought on to replace the injured keeper was listed as being injured in the match summary screen. There was no mention of the keeper being injured.

I go to the squad screen after the match, and the keeper is fine, but his replacement is the one who's injured. How bizarre.

I've heard this before, but it has never happened to me in thousands of PM matches. :( I'm pretty confident it's version specific.

I'm using the CAPS ipf version, which I'm pretty sure is a copy of the original version I own for my Amiga. I don't have the penalty kick bug, the misaligned text bug, or the phantom goalscorer bug. I used to play PM a lot back in the day, but this is the first time anything like this has ever happened.

I'm just wondering what would've happened if I'd already used up both my subs. Would I have been forced to play the match with no-one in goal?!

If they are high value players, say something like £700k, then price them at over £1000k, this will get you the real value of the player after negotiations. I someimes even double the transfer listing fee.

If they are lower priced players, narrow the difference.
And if they are normal or crap, maybe even have them lower than suggested, just to get rid of them.

Hope that helps ... I am a master in the transfer market! Knock off hundreds of thousands when buying the best players..!

Thanks a lot, Sid. I'll give that a try.
