Why don't you want to try what I suggested in the previous page?

Since you can use my disk to load a game, I can start a game for you and save it before I do anything, then send you the ADF. You'll have to let me know which team you choose and what your PM's name/position is.

Thanks. That's got to be worth a try.

Preferably I'd like to be a forward but not really too bothered which position as I'd like to play as the whole team.

The team would be Burnley and manager name of Jim Tattersall.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Cheers.

Here you go Jim. Unfortunately, you've got a crappy forward with only 96 Pace but let's see if it works and I'll be glad to do it again for you.

Actually, if you still can't save the game I have another idea: try an older WinUAE version.

Thnaks mate.

That loads perfectly! I haven't played it thoroughly yet but I presume there'll be no issue and I can use "save state" from now on. :)

Shame about "my" pace but beggars can't be choosers! I don't remember it being so intuitive about a managers pace, it must be reflecting my aged limbs since I last played!!!!!

You've made me a happy man.

Thanks again

I'm glad it worked but don't play it yet, I'll try again and get you a better Player Manager.

:gban: Brilliant news!

Not only organising a WC but still has time to assist a KOA'er in distress! Nice one, Alkis. :) 8)
