Yesterday I was browsing my local magazine store, and I found an English PCzone magazine with a cdrom added to it with all kinds of demo's of games of the last year.
On this disk was the KO2002 demo!
This may not sound very special to you, but as far as I know this is the first time that a magazine is for sale in Holland where KO2002 is not only mentioned but where also a demo is playable.
Don't forget that KO2002 is not for sale in any computerstore in Holland, it is not released here, so the demo on the magazine disk came as a surprise.... IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!

Maybe not a spectacular post, but I just thought I should tell it on the forum. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Gerie, could you put down the full name and issue number/date of the magazine? I looked at the store the other day and couldn't find an issue with the disk. Might be one we don't carry either. Although I don't think I saw the PC World issue, so might have been sold out.

I'm here in the US, so curious to see if we get the disk as well, seeming most times you get only that blasted AOL cd...lol

What I know from memory is that it was a magazine which reviewed demo's from now and a long time ago.
That means there were demo's on it of all the tombraider games, all kind of EA games, mostly of the last year.
The two CDrom's that came with the magazine were really stuffed with demo's.
Looked like a sort of 'once in a time' issue, it was an english PCZone magazine.

Ahh ok, so it wasn't a current issue then. Thank you anyway Gerie! And have fun with your demo! :-)

And Durbz, I already have KO2, but only the 1.2 version that I got from a friend of mine as well as it being for the Steem Emulator.. so not the real thing, but close enough to where I can get my fingers on it :-)

Playing with the keyboard too which is different, but I have accomplished a goal in practice!! LOL, and that is HUGE for me! Also finally figured out (I think, might just be totally by accident... which I tend to believe) how to tackle and get Yellow Carded..lol Not that I condone violence mind you... they just need to get the heck outta my way...

:-D

LOL, was telling Vas on MSN this am that I would be a no brainer for the 'Shirt of Shame'! Seriously though..lol, don't see myself as competition ready until at least 2020! Then you all best watch out!!

Unless I can get this tackling down pat, put all my opponents players on injury status and run the field! Of course would have to bribe the ref's to keep my players from being Red Carded! If I have at least one player left though.. can make many goals!

Hmm... there is a flaw in that theory somewhere...
