The italian magazine Retro Gamer has published an article about our http://www.kickoff2.it and http://www.ko-gathering.it
This magazine is the one in italy who deals with retro games only. It is a quarterly review. In the article there is the Kick off Italia history and, parallely, an article about KOA history and World Cups!
On the side there is a small widening with a sort of curriculum about Luigi, Marco, Mario, Maurizio and me! with small pictures So it is possible to read that we have the maximum expert of Ebay Retro Market (about Joystick/Amiga ect.) and the Most Valuable Joystick mechanic!
It would have been nice to see in the article some pictures about the past World Cups but in the article there are two links about KOA site and Kick Off Italia so I think it is really good as well and It may help to find some more italian players for the Word Cup.
Enjoy!

Very, very nice! Love the sidebar! And damnit, I don't know of any magazine like that in Germany - we desperately need one.
However, you missed the chance to make screenshots for the article with your graphical modifications and/or showing off the Camber Version!

Yup, have a look here. I think the Italian one may be an off shoot of the UK one.

I'l show you a copy of one Gaz, its a great mag! Infact, I emailed them and suggested they write up about Kick Off - even offering to write it myself hehe. Obviously the wheels were already in motion though. How did you guys manage this? This is brilliant work guys!

I bought the first number, i liked it so much that i think to write them.
I found the right contact in the right moment, because it was exactly what they were looking for: communities made by retro-soccer players to speak about!
Some mails exchanged and the deal was done

I think I have every issue of Retro Gamer, although might have missed the odd one. Just been and dug out issue one and see that it's been running since early 2004. Didn't realise it had been that long!Steve1977 wrote:I'l show you a copy of one Gaz, its a great mag! At one point it looked like they were going to fold but it got picked up by another publisher. Don't remember ever reading about KO2 in there though, so that is either coming soon or exclusive to our Italian friends. Either that or I've forgotten.
