Good article, Jørn. I laughed out loud when I read the "Selv om det var blitt sent var det vanskelig å finne ro etter den eksellente italienske pizza-middagen" comment. However, I thought "Det var tette, jevne kamper, fyllt med imponerende teknikk i både angrep og forsvar" was a bit too much. I'm seriously thinking of quitting the KOA because of that comment.
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November

Nice article Jørn. Now everybody in Tromsø know that you are a nerd ;)

I still find norwegian spelling hilarious. Last year I went to Trondheim. It's like all the signs
are written by 10-year olds who are not doing too well in school.
'sykel' instead of 'cykel' etc...

To everybody who doesn't know it, all norwegians are in fact danes speaking a strange
dialect. Some norwegian nationalists realised this and invented a new language called
'nynorsk' . They even made it an official language even though nobody understands it.

sorry ;)

hehe. Nice going there Jesper. No wonder Denmark is a part of the "NORdic countries".

But, yes, you are kinda right. Norwegian is, of course, based partly on danish, considering the fact that Norway didn't become a seperate country before 1905, after first beeing part of a union with Denmark, then with Sweden.

A danish word I've allways enjoyed though is "fupper", as in "Bill og Ben fupper bankröverne". To fuppe, fup, fups, has fupped.

Btw, nynorsk (neonorwegian) is pants. Noone really speakes it. It's a language basicly based on work a stupid linguistick schmuck (Ivar Aasen) did over 100 yers ago. It's a combination of many dialects. The most talked/written is "bokmål". That's what's most used. Some schools in Norway are now even cutting out usage of nynorsk. 8) Of course, you also have "samisk" (language spoken by the same/lap-people in lapland), but hey, that sucks.

Back to the important part - nice pics? ;)
