I still doubt if I should come to the tournament. Don't know exactly if I have the time to come. I probably have to play soccer and they can't miss me... (I'm in the first squad playing at a rather high level, so they take it very seriously);

Hello !

I would represent Austria gladly together with a friend in the KOA tournament in November 2001.

We want to participate definitely.

Here are our names: Hausmann Helmut, Lederer Klaus

Yours sincerely

Is it possible for there to be Atari ST machines to use at the tournament. Perhaps the HOME team can select the machine type to play the game on...

Now I'm not one to start the age old Amiga vs ST debate (although Amiga rocks!!!!) - but if I have to play on that horrid striped ST pitch I'm likely to go blind....better to use the nice, eye-friendly Amiga normal pitch!;

I'm not into the Atari vs Amiga debate either, but I've just been playing the Amiga version of KO2 against an Amiga old-timer (kicked his butt of course), and I definitely prefer the ST version. I actually missed the green border giving the appearance of a greater field of view. All that bitmapped grass just serves to complicate the view. I'll take the ST version any day.
I'm still amazed to see the ball go behind the player while dribbling on the Amiga. That never happens on the ST !

Hi All!

I have an idea (don't know if you've discussed this before, but in our last GOAL! tournament (also called the Gathering) we used a big screen projector to view one of the ongoing matches on. And it was great fun. It really captivated the audience (the other players).

The A1200 has a scartcable port, so it should be easy to set up. So if you want some great fun during the tournament, then use it. All really important matches should be displayed on the big screen.

Another idea, I see that Steve would like, is the tour de france lead jersey. We also had the yellow lead-shirt for the past three tournaments, custom made for each tournament, and it's also great fun. So go for that too, if you choose the league style tournament.

Just some ideas.

Have fun
Jon;

Yeah, it's going to be all day Saturday 3rd and all day Sunday 4th. Should be a good weekend. I just checked out the potential conferencing room at the hotel i wished to use and it would suit us well. The maximum we could have is 32 people though so from now on i am going to have to introduce an anti UK bias in so that we can cater for KO'ers from around the globe. I am hoping to be able to ensure that we also have 32 rooms booked at this hotel and that those rooms will be pre-paid for. Thus free to you guys.
How does this sound. 32 max player tournament and all accomodation free.
