Incidentally there is a discussion about PM teams in the KOA forum - let's move there (it's called 'My Liverpool team in Player Manager).

By the way: Since now, I think Robert S. is the PM WChampion. The "I think" phrase indicates that ther wasn't any world championship held. So my opinion is that if Robert S. changed that "forward always in the box" tactic (always offside ), he would be absolutely the best beyond any doubt.

I'll second that, I saw his tactics in Dartford and they were amazing.

That's very polite of you to say, guys, but actually James is better with the 'goalhanger' tactic. His whole style of play is based on long-balls to this player. I am not so good at the headers and volleys and mainly concentrate on passing and wing play.

Also James made the best Player Manager teams (Chelsea, Liverpool, Leeds). He did these while he was unemployed for 6 months. One season he rejected over 100 players, all over 1000k, because they were not good enough for Chelsea. Eventually he bought A.Chapman who is unequalled. Some days he spent 6 hours reloading the season while watching TV etc. Therefore I proclaim him world champion of PM, not me. Although Fredjaillet sounds a very strong contender.

The one thing I do miss with default tactics is the lack of deep sweeper. If I had this man I wouldn't conceed so many long-ball goals like I do in 4-2-4. You can even use him to stop lobs, if you play a tall guy there (over 190cm).
