Which one of your opponents in Dartford made you feel like a total failure (or close)?
I know the Poelstras made it to the semi finals, but the person who really impressed me was the third Groningen member: Kees. I know I managed to beat him 4-3, but after a 4-1 lead in the first half I hardly touched the ball in the second! I felt helpless against his attacks. He should have gotten at least a draw. I was surprised to see him disqualify.

Well Mr. Dig did me over 8 - 0 so that says it all. He's the only one i didn't score a goal against all weekend. Although to be fair I didn't play on the Sunday at all, not even 'just for fun' games as I had videoing to do

In all honesty Alkis, your toughest opponent wasn't in Dartford last weekend .. I was in California on business ...

Well played mate - I'm planning to come across to Greece in 2002 so keep your practice up!

Well, the toughest opponent for me was defintely you Alkis, I felt really helpless in your games. You scored 16 goals in 3 matches against me. Don't know how I got to the semi-finals. Gianluca was also one of the guys which was far better than me. Personally I think Kees an MrDig are tough opponents indeed, but since I've played so many matches against them, I don't see them as the toughest opponents. There were a lot of other which were difficult for me so it's hard for me to pick one out really. I've lost matches against people who didn't even make to the second round, so it's hard to tell...

I agree Kees was the tough opponent.I made a draw with him.Good defence and great counterattack. I think his problem is some lack of concentration that causes some mistakes. But if he play seriously....

Hello Guys, Kees here, I thank you all for the possitive words. I really liked the tournament although I lost to fast from riempie ( that calles himself a friend, he kicked me out!) It suprised me there are so many styles of playing kickoff see: Alkis he played the most efficient style (extremely smart counter game and a lot of goals amazing!)Fox plays the fastest style I ever saw (what a timing incradable!) And mrdig plays the most technical style but not smart enough just like our national team.

Kick off is such a real game that you can compare with real football. Beautiful playing never wins the worldcup (see Holland) But smart countergame with good scoringskills wil ever win. So thats why Alkis earned it! he plays the smartest countergame i ever saw!
I hope to see you next year

In all honesty Simon, I've been hearing similar "threats" since 1990 and my score is now 3/3 tournaments (24 victories, 5 draws, 0 defeats).

Well I'm not one to brag...but I do have this habit of absolutely hammering Nazim when I'm 'in the zone'...(world #5 and one of your drawn games - Nazim is going to kill me for that).

I know you've heard all these sorts of challenges before - but since you've silenced The Gathering crowd I just thought I'd keep you on your toes...with any luck you'll be hearing of my exploits at the UK Championships in Easter...roll on Greece 2002 my friend!
