Hmm....

There was me thinking we were all one big happy family...

Alkis won the tournament, there were other players who played very well and had they won Alkis would be the first to congratulate them and mean it from the bottom of his heart.

You all got to meet each other and should be very grateful for that.

I missed the tournament and wanted to be there with all my heart however could not make it. I feel I have missed something important but all I hear are people criticising each other.

KO2 is a game people, thats all, a very good game which currently Alkis is the best player there is. There are other good players and bad players, but at the end of the day Alkis won the tournament and can call himself champion, from what I have read he is doing this in a light hearted and good natured way and hasn't disrespected anyone in doing so.

The KO community is more than a game, it is a gathering of people who have got together to help Steve reach his ambition of writing a supreme football game. And now he has done it.

We are the reason it has come together so well, do not forget this.

We are all one big happy family, we will have rows, we will fight amongst ourselves but at the end of the day we all have on aim .

Those of you who met this weekend are lucky, don't spoil it with petty comments and the like. The rest of us wanted to be there but for reasons outside out control we couldn't be. Lets all make up and get on with what we do best, creativity and ideas for UKO and UPM.

Please....

Oh go on.....

Mark

Ely Mate I'm with you.....

Alkis is a nice guy in my experience, I have exchanged many Emails and ICQ chats with the guy and he is as decent a guy as I have met..

But so are the rest of you, Ely, Stainy and Steve I have probably emailed/chatted to a few times and are all genuine as well. The lot of you are nice down to earth people.

It seems to me that the whole KOA is a bunch of genuine nice people who all get on normally.

Now a few misplaced or misread or whatever comments have caused a bit of an argument. Lets all forget it now, Alkis is the one suffering, and whilst he is suffering so is the KOA. So will you all please get back to talking about KO stuff.

Lets have a new poll, who likes Alkis. If there is even one person who says 'no' or even 'not sure' I will personally come and change their error permanently!

In fact everyone on this thing should like each other, or else you shouldn't be here at all..

Come on lads, lets get back to the light hearted banter....

Mark

What the fuck is this thread.. Alkis' problem??? Who are you to judge Alkis has a problem, Vasilis? We spent hours together, before, during and after the tournament, and you didn't have the nerve to tell me these things face to face, and now you're posting them at the forum? What sort of back stabbing behaviour is that? To whom did I not give respect? You take two phrases that I said that were OBVIOUS jokes, "I came here to confirm what I already knew" and "I have no friends in KO" and jump into conclusions? How many times did I tell you that I was having the time of my life, and that won't change even if I get disqualified? How dare you say that I just went to Dartford to get the trophy?
Who did I snobb in Dartford? Didn't I talk to everyone? Didn't I even hugg all of you after a match? Didn't I go out on Friday and Saturday night? Just because I didn't stay till late, does it mean I didn't want to hang out with you? You came in the pub and ignored us, Filippo. Me, James L and Robert. However, we came and sat with you, then I got up and went to talked to Mark, Riempie and the others. The Dutch and I went out to eat and I enjoyed our conversation very much. If you had a problem with me, why didn't you tell me about it there? Why did you have to do it in public?
Gianluca, when you say "I hope next year the official organizer of the tournment will be Vasilis!" it is your right. All I can say is that: Be careful what you wish for. I'm sorry you disliked me so much, it's too bad I thought you were a great guy.
Tim, I didn't talk much to the other competitors? I hardly ever stopped talking!

When I feel like I want to say something, I always do it in public, so others can judge me and also give me a piece of advice. Back stabbing is not what I did... well lets see... who was the one (and actually only one <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">) that supported you all the way to the final? Me. Who supported me? Hmmm...hard to say but not you. James did, Martin did, Ely did, not you pal. That's why I was dissappointed. I made all the way from Greece with you. You played the best KO games of your life against me and George. Did you mentioned it in your small speech when you won the final? Nop...I'd be very glad to hear it... Am I asking too much here? Did you forget or neglected? I just hope it was the first. Wasn't it? No one dislikes you. I don't dislike you and I judge your particular acts not your personality. As I said, you were too excited, that's all...

I would have been excited too mate.

He is extremely enthusiastic about KO2 and has been from the start. You can't expect him to keep a lid on his happiness when he is playing a game he loves against people who love the game too.

You two need to sort out your little argument, Alkis is right in that you shouldn't have brought this into a public forum as your comments have been quite hurtfull.

I know you don't mean to hurt alkis, however I can see how your comments will have upset him.

Just see it through his eyes for a second. Lets all make up and forget this thing.
the comments have been said and read so an apology isn't the right thing to do.
The way forward is to stop writing to this thread and let Alkis and everyone else get back to remembering the nice things about the gathering.

I just hope that Alkis took under consideration EVERYTHING I said about how I felt for the whole thing. I never meant to do no harm. If I did, I'm awfuly sorry, in public. Sorry Alkis...
