Me too, today is my first day at work again after the tourney and I still have the Kick Off feeling... The forum is constantly on screen here at my work... I wouldn't mind a new tournament this weekend..

I'd sure like to have some of you guys here and go out for a beer, but no more tournaments for me please! I survived the first one without a heart attack, I need a rest before the next one.

Since getting back to work on Monday I have had the forum loaded up permanently.

I just need to keep in touch with all the great people I met at The Gathering.

Its really strange how that weekend has affected me <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

You want to know what depression is? Depression is when you learn some great news about the KO's publicity, run to the forum to tell it to your mates, only to find out that some of them hate you, not as a Kick Off 2 player as I initially thought, no, that was just the excuse, but as a person. I wish I knew what I did wrong. I have been busting my ass for this community ever since I entered it last March, and I never asked for anything in return. And now I'm being called names as arrogant, unsympathetic, unfair etc.

So, take a looong breath...
Don't confuse the critics in the gathering with the works in the KOA comunity and please, we know how much you have work in this months!!
So all we agree you was the best player, you was a perfect organizer, you're the worth organizer of the next tournament and so on...
Wants more???

Alkis, come on! I will give you a hug!!!
Almost everybody thanked you for your good organization. I already said in an other post. If you wasn't there then we'd still play practice games by now. I definitely want you there next year!!

Alkis Mate?

Who hates you?

I admit I havent read all the posts in the forum but I didn't see any hate there?

I saw a few people posting what seemed like petty comments about who won and who lost, but I put the comments down to misinterpretations of what the people meant.

Personally mate I know a lot of us appreciate the work you have done for the forum and UKO in general.

Other than Steve there is no doubt who the main contributor is to the game, I don't think people dislike you in anyway? Not from how I read the comments anyway.

I think the problem with this forum is that comments quite regularly get taken the wrong way, mainly because of the broad range of languages we all use.

However if it helps, I know you are a good bloke mate!

If anyone says different send 'em round to see me and I will sort 'em out good and proper like....

Alkis mate I think you are a top guy and can't wait to see you in Athens next year if not before.
I just think some people find it hard to take a loss.
