Great to hear that you are organizing a UK tournament... We (The Dutchies) also talked about an Dutch tournament in Groningen or in Arnhem.. Would be nice if the winner of this tournament will arrive in an orange kick off 2 shirt at the Gathering 2..

Hi Nazim here

Great game MarkP - you and your brother make a formidable duo. It'll be great to play u again.

By the way Bjarte - I'm half norwegian if that counts...

And James B - it wasn't the decider for 2nd place I played with your brother - my match against Alkis after that decided who went 2nd - not to take away anything from Martin's victory tho as it was well deserved :)

Just before the tournament I was already working on a KO-tournament-system. I didn't get the chance to finish it, but I'll probably will this week.

Basically it's about this:
- You can submit name/location of the tournament, the competitors, and the outcome.
- All these data will be used for an overal top player standings.

A UK only tourney sounds like a good idea, from what i can gather from the gathering posts it sounds like the brits will need the practice if nothing else.
Sign me up guys im looking forward to it.

Just to confirm I can make any date and place in the UK (Easter sounds good!)

As long as it isn't Easter day as I would like to spend that with my little girl as she loves sharing her easter eggs with me...

Oh and just to add, I would think the same format as the Gathering with league groups first would be best.

Maybe 4 groups of 4 each team playing 3 or 4 times.

Then top two into the knockout stages.

Leaving me to go for my lunch!

I have just joined the KOA and I would definately play in any UK tournament. I bought KO2 10 years ago and still play it to this day. But I only get to play against the same 3 players ever (my brother and two friends). It would be great to find out how good we all actually are against other players. I would have loved to enter the Dartford tournament but I didnt find this site early enough. In fact im sure all 4 of us will play in this tournament. Personally I dont think we should be putting a limit on the number of entrants just yet. It would be bettr to wait and see how many people put their names forward. After all, the tournaments not until Easter!

Yes, it's got to be anyone living in the UK. I'm sure Michael Qureshi will come; he lives in London but is extremely German. Every time I scored against him he jumped up and shouted 'Nein!' Wish I'd seen him when England won 5-1 in Munich!

Taking it further chaps I have already been asked by Riemer if he could participate in our UK tournament.

Maybe we could have some guest overseas players who can also participate...

The more the merrier I say...
