Which was the best tournament match? I think it was the 2nd leg match between Nazim and Mark P. Both of them were great and the sequence of goals was realy thrilling. It was 7-4 for Mark P., right?

Yup that was probably the best game to watch of the whole tournament. Also Alkis vs Nazim in the 1st round a 3-3 thriller which could have gone either way. I'm sure there are others but you can't watch 'em all. Funny that Nazim was involved in both f these classics. Next year perhaps mate

Nazim was the guy that kicked me out from the quarter finals with a 3-2 but I enjoyed playing against him.
He's a nice offensive player and would improve much if he paid some attention to his defense!

Yeah you're right, even I get goals against him !!! Alkis said the same on the way to Luton as well. Nazim, get your defense sorted !!!

All the games were good games. I can remember every one, and have written down the scores for future reference.

This wasn't 'the' best, but my best was funnily enough the second round 5-4 defeat by Jacob. I pulled it back from 0-2 to 2-2, then from 2-4 to 4-4, and in the dying seconds we were both pushing for the winner, and he got it. Credit to the man, I felt like I'd gone 12 rounds with Mike Tyson.

Well one of my most memorable times was when Mr Dig started digging his grave late in the semi final against the Italian Champion.
What a turn around.
Apart from that my defeat of Alkis was most excellent.

My last game was vs Nazim. Whoever was going to win this, he could get to the next round. I equalized twice, (1-1,2-2) but he spoke the last word with a third goal... Shame!

That was a great match Vasilis - I needed to dig deep (Scuse the pun Marc!) to pull it off - can't wait for the rematch!

There were so many great matches, it's hard to single out one (apart from the game of shame of course!) but I really enjoyed the semi final - Marc v Gianluca - what a match-up! And of course Alkis's indomitable form - epic stuff!

I'll never forgot my 2 matches against Nazim... oh man that were the two most nervous matches I've ever played..

In the first leg Nazim took a stunning lead of 4-0.. I though I was out of the tournament! Thankfully I managed to score 2 goals in the second half so I had a chance in the second leg..

The second leg was amazing! Goal after goal and some pretty nice goals were in this match.. I couldn't take a big lead until the second half.. so the game finished in 7-4... Phew, Nazim played very well and he almost beat me..

And yes Beard guy.. you're right.. I started digging my own grave againt The Fox... The second leg - second half he overwhelmed me and he missed many chances.. (Thank God ).. I should had changed my tactic in the second half.. (I'll do that next time.., (I hope..)..)

Furthermore I remember the match between Kees and The Fox especially.. Kees was the first who drawed against him.. Pretty amazing match..

Thanks Filippo for your words!
I agree, there were 3 players a little bit skilled respect to the others...
Mark P.:
Guarantee the fun, fantasy, attack.See him is something too much good for the eyes.Great goals and spectacular passes.I think we must all improve by him.Really Congratulations!
Alkis P.:
In my opinion I don't like Alkis playing..sorry guy but you score just in one way!But you are the winner so...Congratulations.He plays concrete actions, with long ball and with a concrete (not beautiful) finishing (horizontal movement & shoot straight). If you play against him, be sure that you never see the ball (he has a GREAT ball possession)! I'm just wondering why did you refuse to play a friendly match with me (& with my joystick!) at the end of the tournment..
Gianluca T.:
It's hard to write some comments about me...In semi-final 1st leg Mark P. beat me with merit,I was hammered by him!Hovever I regret the 2nd leg with Mark,I'm remembering all the shoot missed!Me I have a great defence and an excellent finishing (spectacular shoots).I know that I can score everywhere in the field...Counter attack it's my speciality:1 shoot 1 goal (except for the semi-final!).I failed one match (2nd leg) and I was out..maybe if the tournment was just a simple league I was the winner!

Well this *is* my most frequent way of scoring against a 4-2-4 because this particular tactic is very vulnerable against this attack. But if you ask all those who played against me, I'm sure they will tell you I score in many ways. I agree that Mark is more spectacular than me, but I scored 79 goals in this tournament, they were hardly scored in just one way!! Hell, I scored in the final with 6 different ways!

I failed one match (2nd leg) and I was out..maybe if the tournment was just a simple league I was the winner!

Well I doubt it. If you inlude the practice matches, I played more than 30 matches in Dartford and only gave out two draws! So you lost TWICE (I beat you in a friendly match on Saturday evening, remember?) and I didn't lose at all.

Maybe because I was feeling more tired than I had been in my entire life! Surely you're not implying I was afraid?
