Or is it some low grade footage like a small budget porno? <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

After speaking to the boss this morning, if Ely can get the footage to me by next Monday
we can put it on the PC UKO disk as a stand alone item. Interested????

Steve that'd be a really good thing to do, but I can't see it happening. It needs tons of editing as there's lots of the camera being 'on' but me not fliming (well apart from the floor). Plus it needs compression, i took 1m45s
off today and it was 339Mb !!!!

How about we add it to UPM when that comes out i'll have a more makeable deadline then ??

I'll do my best mate. Once I sort out a little problem I have that might be okay. Leave it with me and my PC !!!!

I've got the whole 20 minute final recorded.. That's a lot of disk space in any decent format.

I'm more of a VirtualDub man myself. Can't go wrong there. Also use Ulead Videostudio.

Got Premiere 5.1c though I don't use it.

Also you might like to try Windows Media Encoder. I get some nice results using windows media 8. About 1 meg a minute.

http://www.virtualdub.com It's only little, but does a lot though. Not sure if it handles AVIs straight from firewire yet. They are a strange beast, just DV data with an AVI header. Two types though. Gets a bit complicated.
