All the world's a stage.. and I'm scared like hell.
I spent a few hours today practising, then I printed all the papers we'll need about the drawing and the complete schedule. I also made 40 copies of the tournament rules, so everyone will have one. I did several test drawings and random results of the entire tournament, and I think I've done no mistakes, and neither has Filippo. It works pretty well.
I'm leaving in a few hours, and suddenly I don't feel so sure about myself anymore. I know it's just a game and meeting you guys should be all I need, but I have this weird fear that I will suck at what has been a life dream for me.
Anyway.. I'm leaving in a few hours. Have a nice trip everybody. This is Alkis, signing off.

And I thought it was just me... can you believe I had some weird mixed up nightmare thing the other night, I had got there didn't have my joystick! Sad or what?

I've been a bit worried about how I'll compare with all the other players but that's the beauty of this tournament, a lot of us have been learning the art of KO2 alone, now for the first time we will see how good we really are.

I had a practice session with one of my mates tonight, he has hardly played KO before so we ended up with me on Div.4 level and him International. We had quite a good few games and I feel a bit more comfortable seeing I blasted a load of goals past S.M.Fisher with my crappy Div.4 players!

See you all tomorrow, I am hoping to be there in time to go to TGI's, but it depends how early I can get the train up to London, if not see you Saturday morning I guess... good luck everybody, it's gonna be an unforgettable weekend.

I'm not scared at all.
I played at 100% speed today and it was alien to me.I'm gonna suck at ko in Dartford <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif">

Well i finally got to play last night and i was awful, truly awful, in my first 6 games i managed to win once draw once and then lose 4 times but something must have clicked and after that i drew one and won 9 on the spin so i've shaken off some off the dust. UKO has taken a ton out of my KO game, i'm not sure i'm going to make phase 2 at all but i don't think i'll be taking the wooden spoon. My other two opponents were Kyne and Norman who are both competing at the Gathering. I'm confident i can beat them but as for anyone else???? One high point for me was a game where i was losing 4-1 at half time...4 bloody 1 in a 5 mins per half game!! Well by 1 min into the 2nd half i had already pulled it round to 4-4 and by the end i had crushed the Kyne 9-5. Bring it on!!

Hey guys the time has finally arrived.

My dream will finally come true when I meet all you guys from all over the world to celebrate the best ever game of all time.

I have the jitters now and feel nervous about getting my arse wooped by everyone after 10 years of practice.

Glad to see a lot of others are nervous as well.

Me and bro will be setting off in an hour or so !!

I CANNOT WAIT !!!!!!!!!

We're off to Abbots Langley first to pick up two of Stainy's 'Joyboards' from his Mum's house !!!
Don't worry, they'll be on leashes to stop them escaping and causing un-told trouble in Dartford <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">
