MJB is a fire-button-on-stick man, with his favoured weapon being a Quickshot II.
I hope you get to play him in the first round, and he knows how to use it !

The CompPros me and Jim use are microswitch for direction, but not the firebuttons. Last week I morphed together my stick with a PC CompPro which has microwitch FBs. My goal count suffered as a result, I guess I'll stick with what I'm used to for this tounament.

Are joysticks considered to be "dangerous articles"? I don't know why I'm so nervous about it, but I have a bad feeling that the DTLR (Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions) won't let us keep the sticks! Here's a list with some items you must not carry on a plane:

Toys or replica guns (plastic or metal)
Catapults
Household cutlery
Knifes with blades of any length
Paper knifes
Razor blades
Tradesmen’s tools
Darts
Scissors
Hypodermic syringes
Knitting needles
Sporting bats
Billiard, snooker or pool cues

Ok There's nothing mentioned about joysticks but I'm still anxious. I just don't won't my perfect jsticks seized by the customs officers.

Vasilis, as long as they are not in your hand luggage you should be fine mate.

Robert, I use my left hand for the fire button and right hand for control.. there is simply no other way with a CP5000 that I could think of.

That's exactly my problem. You see, I intended to carry only a handbag, in order to avoid further delay in the airport terminal... Anyway, I see there's no way to avoid this.

PS Why on earth can someone carry a catapult on an airplane?! He won't find any stones to throw in there! Whatever...

Vasilis - when you say a handbag, do you mean like Tinky Winky from the Teletubbies (have they made it to Greece yet)?

I think that may have got mixed up in the translation. In the UK a 'handbag' is what ladies use to carry their make up, mobile phone, mace spray etc.

I won't carry a handbag, certainly not me! I meant a small bag which someone can carry on his back. Excuse my poor english. I thought it would be more convenient to bring just a kind of "overnight kit" along with me.
