If you're planning to fly with easyjet you need to have a passport to get aboard. Atleast that's what I was told when booking or flight (we fly easyjet too). They don't use the usual ticket-system, where
you receive your ticket at home, but you'll get a code, which, in combination with your passport can get you aboard.

Vasilis, in case you're reading this, don't worry. I asked at the Greek department of Easyjet, and they don't need a passport.

I thought you'd need one coming from Greece. I assume this is because of the European Union thing is it ??

That's right, the EU thing. I don't need a passport to come to England. I did renew mine just in case something happens to me there, though; it's good to have some papers in English as well.

Very wise, although you're lucky that you can speak English very well, that can be a problem when getting asked about stuff.
