I've seen my lobs blocked many times. I just enjoy watching the ball sliding past the keeper slow. That's why I'm trying to score like this. That's also why I'm so good at it. Just don't let this fool you, because I'm capable of many tricks in KO.

Alkis' problem is that he can't stand losing, even by a superior player. That causes him a loss of memory I suppose, because he can't even remember the games we had! Well, we played 12 games. The sequense for me was: WLWWWWDWWWLL exactly as presented here. Maybe this will freshen up his memory. He made that epic statement that he would lose a single game from me from then on after his 5th loss. Doh! I hate these statements, they're just so arrogant, bumptious or may I say disdainful at least.

Jeez it's been twelve hours since I posted that message and already you guys have declared a 'fatwa' on me.

Alright, alright, I APOLOGISE for my earlier comments.

However I ask you all to see things from my point of view - I can't suggest anything on here without 5 guys jumping on me and organising a vote against. This is about the fifth time this has happened. That's not very welcoming. If I continue to be in a minority of one I'll give the tournament a miss. And when I read comments along the lines of "We don't your sort at our tournament" I think that's maybe what some people want.

My comment about you guys was that you shouldn't make this like an exclusive club with each of you as official spokesman. Read the responses and this is how some of you come across. Try to be more tolerant of other people and their points of view, stop ganging up on them, then you won't put their backs up unnecessarily.

Thanks, and I'll see you on Saturday, your rules, and I'll let the joystick do the talking.

This is going to run and run at this rate !! How can we be accused of making decision over x number of months and then getting told we not allowing other people their point of view. It's like less than 1 week to the tournament, perhaps you should have been here earlier !!

It's not an exclusive club, but there are people on here that have put a lot of effort into this site/forum/tournament so if that makes it a little clic'y then so be it

Robert,

Sorry to here that you think people are against your points of view.

As for as I am aware this is a forum
which is designed for everyone to write there suggestions.

I for one have never categorically stated that any of your suggestions are not valid.

All I have ever done is expressed my own opinion on ideas that I thought would make the tournament run smoothly.

Imagine turning up to the tournament with loads of rules and regulations missing, the tournament would never get completed and you would have loads of disgruntled KOA members complaining all the time.

Over the last six months any problems I have foreseen that could happen at the tournament I have posted on to get reactions and opinions from other KOA members (yours included).

If you think there are problems with rules then complain. I complained about using default kits and I think I have got somewhere with that but I am just sticking with the final rules that are decided by the majority.

The bottom line is Robert for me, that the tournament is all about fun and meeting people who love KO2 as much as me. Getting the rules sorted before the tournament will allow everyone there to get along without arguing all the time.

I look forward to meeting you and everyone else.

Gentlemen, I am crying into my Amiga after reading that. Peace, in our time. Let us go forward together etc etc.

By the way, I DO appreciate the effort various folks (now I sound like George Bush) have put into the tournament. Just before you think I'm a complete b'stard. After ten years of practice we all have our own ways of playing the game and to agree on a format hasn't been easy. Ultimately I'll go with the rules as agreed; they are pretty close to the game in its purest form. This is the last I have to say on the matter.

Robert
