You guys are full of ideas about what other people should and shouldn't be allowed to do. According to some people, anyone who uses various built-in game functions or scores goals in a certain way is some kind of cheat. I hope the stuff you post on here is no indication of what you'll be like when I meet you in real life. The phrase 'bad losers' springs to mind, which is funny as a ball hasn't even been kicked yet.

Fine, I won't swap G.Nicholls and R.Barber before Kick Off, if that makes you happy.

But just remember three things

1) This is supposed to be 'fun'
2) If you think you need to reboot the Amiga after rearranging players then you are an imbecile
3) Rearranging players and selecting tactics are BUILT INTO KICK OFF 2 and completely separate from Player Manager. If you haven't explored these functions in the game then it's your loss. Why not play the full game? Don't limit yourself. You've had ten years to work out how it works. Do you never think "Let's try that, and see what it does"?

I think the main problem here Robert is TIME. i.e. We don't have enough of it on the 1st Day. It's gonna take the best part of 7 - 8 hours to do round one, and that's by only adding up actual game times, we need to find/swap players etc as well.

Perhaps there is a bit of over reaction, but you can't have a tournament without RULES otherwise what's the point Someone has to make a descion, democracy rules on here and the people (well us regulars) have spoken.

"I hope the stuff you post on here is no indication of what you'll be like when I meet you in real life."

I'm not sure I like your tone. Do you see anyone else display this kind of hostility here?

"The phrase 'bad losers' springs to mind"

We disagree with something you said, and you go...:

"Fine, I won't swap G.Nicholls and R.Barber before Kick Off, if that makes you happy."

If that's not a "bad loser"'s reaction, I don't know what it is. Childish maybe?

"If you think you need to reboot the Amiga after rearranging players then you are an imbecile"

And if you think you can insult us like this, you're in the wrong forum.
Bottom line: I've had dozens of my ideas rejected (God knows I disagree about the penalties in UKO), and so have many people in here, but you don't see us acting that way. I will assume this is an isolated incident, maybe you had a bad day or something. The last thing we need is a fight a few days before the tournament.

Good words Mr. Gurney and Mr. Polyrakis. Let's hope this is an isolated incident. There's no need for this crap on here

Robert, chill out mate! There's no intention to provoce anyone here! We do have fun here, and we will have lots of fun in the tournament. So, what's the fuzz?
PS1 There are no cheat goals in KO2.
PS2 Change your team's line up if that's your problem. I realy don't mind.

PS3 There is also an option to load a Player Manager team. I would like to use it! But I have to respect my co-players, mate. On the other hand, I can understand your feeling. You see, I like editing tactics, getting the best out of my players and stuff. I mean, I've been in the core of KO and PM for the past 11 years! I know these games like the back of my palm and believe me, I have tried everything possible! You've got to think this one though; Is this what we need to see in Dartford? I don't think so. We are gathering in Dartford for a tournament worthy of the KO's fame and quality. That means pace, conception, reflexes, certain incredients that made this game special. You want to change the line up? Fine. You want to use your own team color? Fine. You even want to play with reserves? Whatever suits you right. But I think you're missing the point, mate.
I never meant to be mean. Excuse me if you were offended by any part of my words. I like things being clear as crystal. That's something that describes my way of living, and I'm stuck with it. I hate obscurity.

Well I think everything I would of replied to Robert has pretty much been said already.
Cheers guys you saved me some typing!
I'd just reiterate that I think this tournament is testing reflexes, skills and innate KO2 ability - if both teams are exactly the same then surely this test is most fair then.
I think we should take it in turns to pop down McDonalds so people are not without there happy meals at the tournament.
