Hehehe! This reminds me of my games against Alkis yesterday! Whenever he managed to score (a few goals this time), I scored right from the kickoff line!
A penalty kick is more difficult for me!

What Vasilis yout attempted a 50 yard punt?
I rarely try those because I am not that good at them and I have more chance of scoring closer to the goal! Also they are goals for "£$"£ers.
And James can I have strawberry sauce please! You know I am not too keen on chocolate!

These shots are morale-killers! Imagine the poor guy trying to score for 5 mins in and out my penalty area, and when he finally scores, kick off, "ooooooooops what a loop! The keeper surely didn't see that one passing over his head!"

PS: most people don't like this kind of scoring just because they can't score with a longball! Well I can and I'll score!

Yeah Vasilis there are rumours that people who try lobs from long range are going to get booed and hissed throughout the tournament.. What is the matter with these people have they not got such a thing as a defence ?

I can rarely get a goal from the kickoff due to Martin sussing out how they work and then just stopping them.

Martin I will get you some Strawberry milkshake as well for you to drink at the tournament while the rest of us drink beer.

There's actually a way to defend yourself from the loop, but I won't tell of course! It's very simple people, find it before it's too late!

Jim, there is always the option of a non-alcoholic light beer for Martin! He doesn't need to be embarassed by being the only person in a bar using a straw! There might be nice ladies over there! Gee!

Hey bring on the straws so I can drink plenty of strawberry milk to increase my glucose levels for the tournament!
The best way to stop the lob is to stop the attempt and if you cant do that, or if you cant put enough pressure on the player to make it a harder shot then well....

More or less that's the idea.
You can also smack your opponent just at the moment he attempts the shot, yet I don't recommend this to anyone.

Funny you should say that because I have just been down the pub for the routine work drink and someone said 'why don't you wack your opponent when they are about to score?'!
Well...as there is nothing in the rules like 'forcible contact on you opponent during play is forbidden' if anyone is going to try a $£%$ shot then why not wack them??? LOL!

I think we're going to need some security guards for the tournament!

Or how about the Daily Star girls enforcing the no contact rulings?

Hmmm...I vote for that! Gee, I like how the word "enforcing" sounds in your suggestion. I want to be enforced! Hehehe! I surely do!
