Aren't there 33 participants. Am I already excuded from the the best players (everybody talks about the best 32 player), only because of what Gunther tells you? Though he is right, I must say.

But... be afraid of my beginners luck. I've been told by the veterans, beginners may get very lucky when playing KO2..

It's ok Tim! You can do well in the tourney, if you practice a lot! It's not a matter of experience no more, but practice and focusing on the game.

Wow that's a bit rushing there Softfox! I mean. I'd love to play in the final, but I'm not the only one! I know I can make it to the final, especially now that I found the way to beat Alkis. I wish I can. Thanx anyway! I wish it's you vs me in the final! One thing I know for sure: one greek will certainly make it to the final!

That would me more thrilling! Actually I'd like to see international pairs all the way to the final. Maybe we can arrange this in thee draw. We can assign some kind of numbers representing the countries the players are put in groups smoothly. I wouldn't like a group with 6 English or 6 Dutch...

Vasilis is right! As I've said before, it would not be very nice to travel to London, and then find yourself in a group with two people you already have been playing against for the last 10 years.

Yes And No. I think the best democratic solution is random group. But obviously, everybody want to play with different players.
So, we can share the english and the Nederland player in the 4 groups and then continue with random selection.

The idea is good Filippo.
Not all Dutch and English players know each other. I wouldn't mind being in a group with Riempie or MrDig. But it would be stupid to be in a group with Niels or Jan Tijssen.

I'll ask from Alkis to arrange this as properly as possible. We will know the "groups" of players that won't be drawn in the same group at least on the first round.

Good on you Vasilis, it would be much better for me to play 7 games versus people I have never met before.

Then I can wipe out Steve Camber and Martin Beard in the next round or in the quarter/semi finals.

I think your younger bro waits around the corner for opportunities like this comment you made! I'd like to see how Martin will respond on this one!

hehehe <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif"> Vasilis <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">

I thought I would drop that one in as the abuse usually starts from the younger member of the Beards.

I think that me and my brother should have a Best Of Five Mini-Tournament at The Gathering to decide the "KO2 Best Beard 2001 Trophy". This will be an annual event held at The Gathering.
I would also like to invite Steve Camber to compete perhaps in this event to fight for the
"KO2 Best Player born in GLOUCESTER 2001 Trophy".
