How do we know everyone who's not a regular on this forum is as actually coming to the tournament ?? There was a mention of emailing everyone, I think that'd a very wise idea. Anyone else want to comment ??

It's sad to hear that there are tournament players that haven't posted a single thread since they joinned. I can excuse them if they do not own a PC or internet connection, but for no other reason. Where are you people?

Oh we know you are coming, Filippo.. Steve seems to think you have a pretty good chance of winning the tournament, too!

ooh Steve is very kind with me. I'm a good player, I want to make a good tournament, it's all.
I hopefully that one italian will be in the final match! But is difficult to say how strong I am!
So remember that franco is strong like me but is so f*****g lucky!
Last year we won the croatian championship, it was very simple, but there was only 5-6 very good players and now we have 32 strong players from all over the world!!
I will be happy to be one of the best 4 players in the world!

That's good to hear Filippo being so modest, although that most people consider him as the most likely player to win the tourney. Well done Filippo, and good luck.

Vasilis, what about all the Dutch guys that are attending the tournament. Surely they are the favourites to win what with all there well organised leagues they have for KO2 in there country..

I do not expect anyone from the UK to reach the semi-finals unless Mr Screech starts practicing loads..

The guys started this forum, so they have to be good! I can see UK-Italy-Netherlands-Greece fighting over the crown. Are there any other countries with realy good players?

Well, you can forget about Tim Klifman, he just started playing KO2
As for the rest of us, I really don't know where we stand with our level of play. We only played each other for several years, and we all have kind of the same style of play, same goals ect.
As I saw some avi's of other members I saw goals I've never seen before. Some people said they play with their winger and cross the ball into the box, other use long range (ugly) midline shots (I hardly do that). It will be very interesting to see the clash of Kick Off cultures, who all had their own evolution.

My favorite way of scoring is to take the ball from the defence, feed the wings (7 or 11) make a cross on the out line, pass with a long ball right to the box and make the shot on the move with 10... it never fails.
I also like the longball shot from the id line. It's skillful and difficult, but it worth trying.
One of my favorites is the curled shot from the out line. The keeper always misses this one.
There are innoumerous ways to score in KO2. I think I've practised all the possible ways. Headings is my speciality. Foulkicks too. Alkis had a bad experience against me in the first game we ever played, when I scored with a foulkick, something common for me, yet almost unknown to him.
I think we're about to learn a lot of new things in the tournament.

I'll take any goal I can score. I do tend to use the wings a lot then cut inside and pass to No. 10 for a simple near post effort. Problem is that style was based on using Mr. Speedy R.Shaw, where as with the Int. Teams the wingers are f&*king Slow !!

I am very happy to play in Dartford with the best 32 player's all over the world(most europe). A few week's later and I would't get the permission.

There are a lot of fans. The members increases very fast and only 32 are in Dartford.

And I'm very anxious to see the different tactics every player has. **This game is soo various**
