I am sure that you couldn't walk, because Luton airport is in the NorthWest of London and Dartford is on the SouthEast.

But the guy's from uk knows this better...

Well Beckite, if you like walking 58 odd miles then feel free No I thought not. What time are you getting to Luton. At the moment i'm picking Alkis, Vasilis (and possibly George) up from there (town centre, one train stop from Luton Airport) on Friday at about 1.30pm. If George isn't coming I could get you as well. Otherwise it's a 2 hr train journey as you need to go into London (Kings Cross) then Tube to Charing Cross, then Train to Dartford. Bit of a mess eh, you might be better coming on the Train in the first place.

Danny, Stanstead is no where near Luton, or London for that matter !! If you look on a map you'll see it's near, well nowhere really. Find Cambridge and then go south on the Map !! I think you might have to get a Taxi down by yourself if you're coming from there

Me and my biggest fan (i.e girlfriend) will arrive at Gatwick on friday the 2nd at about 9 a.m. We're coming to Dartford probably by train(is that the cheapest way?)on saturday morning.

Stansted is close enough to London about 1 hour by train or bus I believe."The train journey time is 41 minutes to the City of London, Liverpool Street station."

Anyway I can be in London for 1pm if anyone is interested in getting a cab from there.

Danny it would be a little mad to go into London and then get a cab out. The journey time in a cab from Stansted is only about 45 mins, but from london it could easily be more. I'd bite the bullet and get a cab from Stansted mate. It may even still work out cheaper.

How come a cab ride can be cheaper than a train ride? 45 minutes? Do you have to agree a price with the cab driver or do they have standard prices...
