Steve mate, I am sorry but I will not be able to attend the gathering.

My Other half killed me last night when I told her I was going and she reminded me I was also supposed to be at her cousins wedding on the same day.

I will still try and attend, at least Sunday as I don't want to miss out completely, however as for the competition I think its best to drop out now and let someone else have my place.

If I owe you anything please let me know and I will sort it out.

Hopefully I will be able to make it there at least for a few beers on Sunday, I'm sorry about dropping you in it, I am more annoyed than you can imagine.

Cheers,

Mark (I would still love a souvenir T Shirt tho mate)

Let me just expand, she told me about the wedding about two months ago, and I had dismissed the date (I had thought the KO Gathering was at the end of Nov so it never even registered!)

Sorry mate, I am still doing my best to get out of the wedding thing but as I said I would rather you gave someone else my place rather than I let you down at the last minute.

Cheers,

Mark

That's bad news... At least I hope you can drop by to say hi. All these beercans... we're gonna need all available barflies for the weekend!

It aint over yet mate, I told her in March I was going and she was fine about it.

I just don't want to have to drop out without enough time left to get a replacement so I have let you know now.

I really want my T-Shirt tho and am happy to throw up an money to cover me dropping out.

I'm gutted to be honest, as I was getting better at Ko2 now that I got a joystick working.

you are spot on tho, bloody wimmin!

Mark, I'm really sorry. Isn't there anything we can do? Like send her letters begging her or something?

Doh! i think a few slaps are in order and get your butt down here for the saturday or in years to come, when i'm showing my grandchildren the famous tshirt from the first official international Gathering tournament, when one says to me ' who was this Durban guy' i then don't have to say 'well he was meant to turn up but his girlfriend kicked his ass so bad that he didn't show' <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">
