It's the Holiday Express (Business side of Holiday Inn) Dartford River Crossing, Kent, England. I'll check today to see if they have a web site.;

Well, I wonder if the Amiga's joystickports will still be working at the end of the tournament after plugging in and out joysticks all the time...

I'm also wondering if the guys that like the normal pitch have ever played soggy pitch on Amiga 500.
By the way, where can I read the rules made by Steve?

>There is a list under the first page of this topic, i keep updating it.

Found it, and I'm top of the list, cool !

I'm a great fan of the soggy pitch, it leads to a much more intense game with fewer goal kicks/throw-ins. ..But I've switched to normal pitch just for the tourny.

Makes more like pinball All those s I thought would stay in are flying past the lines

There is a topic for the rules with a DO NOT POST heading. Remember we will be using standard pitch unless both parties agree to use random or another pitch type;

@ Martin

On the back of our A500 is written that you must turn it off when changing joysticks, but because we are lazy guys we never did it, and doesn't seem to matter because we never had joystick problems in the last 10 years.;

Hi SteveC

I also liked soggy pitch temporarily, but it's very hard work for me to move the forward, so after 5 mins I switch back to normal to save my hands.
If we would play the tournament on soggy pitch, we probably need a doctor too!;

I don't understand what you mean with 'international standard friendly'.
I have the italian version so I have some problems.....
You mean a 'single game' (with red/white vs yellow/black kits) or an 'international friendly' (with Italy,France etc...)?

I'm sorry you never play the italian version because for us is in the HISTORY.
Funny wrong translation,and TRUE names of the italian SERIEB and SERIEC(1990)!!!!!!

* SCANNER *

I prefer in the tournament rules to deaktivate the scanner during play. You can aktivate it for Free Kicks and Corner Kicks.

That's my opinion, How do you think about it?

Personally I prefer the scanner on, its just sometimes good to be able to look up and see you have a spare man at the back, or someone up front or somthing, its comforting to have it there for crap players like me

I don't mind if its the small size, but prefer it on.

Cheers,

Mark;

Yeah i'm a big fan of the scanner as well. Really useful for the counter attack, as you can see where the defense is.

As for size I like the second smallest one, but don't mind too much.

Are you sure that you have enough time to look at the scanner if you play @100% and against me?

hehe , by the time we will see this at the KickOff Gathering tournament.
