Yeah, standard teams are a must to keep things fair.

I assume the scanner size we'll be using is the default one - I've always used the maximum scanner size (mainly due to the fuzzy TVs I used to play on), but I've been retraining to use the standard size.

A tip for my Atari ST comrades : if you think the Amiga version will play just like the ST version, then you are in for a serious first round beating ! Get yourself an old Amiga and practice..

The draw will be done so that one person is specified for the home port and one for the away port but apart from that there will be no difference between. Are you still unsure as to whether u will be able to attend Steve?
it would be handy to know as the competitors names will be on the t-shirts.;

Yeah, of course I'm going to attend ! There has never been any doubt about it.

I'm in the middle of moving house, and the wife is going to have our first baby soon, but I'm still training every day for that glorious weekend in November.

As it says on the front page :

"There will be a special tournament page very soon! Stay tuned to KO2U."

I guess that's where all the official tournament info will appear, to make everything nice and clear to all players.

Will there be Comp Pro's there already or do we have to bring our own Jsticks?

I'm sure my clear Comp Pro 5000 is in me mums attic somewhere...

Must have had about 20 of those over the years. Proper Joysticks they were.
Hah, I remember the crappy Kempstons on the old Speccy, they broke every ten minutes.

No idea what happened to my Atari tho...

I guess I will have to train up on WinUAE or something to get the feel of the Ami version.

Can't be that hard tho, I'm going out first round anyway...

Only here for the Beeeeer!

Bring your own sticks. Everyone has different preferences as far as they are concerned;

Bowl x, where am I gonna get a Comp Pro from these days, do they still make em?

As for the beer. Up North we have real beer, but I fear that them southerners water it down a bit so don't expect to get too drunk.

Do Dartford girls set their standards as high as Essex girls then?

You don't want to go there as far as Dartford girls, they are all blotchy legged and with 15 kids by the age of 16 with no husband, at least not one who's not in prison. There is a hald decent nightclub we could all pile into though, should be a good laugh. 32 KO players hitting a club, nightmare scenario!!!!!!;

Yeah well women are women, as long as you don't have to marry em then thats ok by me...

I dunno about this nightclub mate, depends what your taste is like...

bet its called something really silly like Valentinos or the Continental...

eugh!!!

Gimme a place with lots of goth women and Pearl Jam pumping out of the walls!!!
Now that would be fun..
