Yip, I'm still crazy and play at 50%.
However the speed of uko seems to be fine.

I'll have to come to grips with ko2 at 100%.
As for ref: I would recomend Fred Willis, a yellow and a red, no messing involved.I'm also fond of the soggy pitch.

I would like to propose the following:
1)2x5 Min or 2x 10 Min (to minimize luck), normal pitch only, no wind, aftertouch on,extra time on, referee Fernandez

2)It would be more fair when we would decide to play 2-player. The teams vary more than a bit, although I agree that the players from England should have some advantages because they are hosting the tournament. But they could also invite some fans!

The solution to this it to make a questionnaire/form to all confirmed participants. If the questions are closed, a simple vote on each rule should suffice. Democracy is the best method.

i.e
1. Game length....2x5/2x10 (delete as applicable)
2. Wind.....Yes/No
3. Pitch....Random/Normal

etc etc;

Hi @all !

I would prefer these settings to play KO2:

-Speed 100%
-2x5, better 2x10 min.(if we have a lot of time)
-I prefer playing everybody against everybody, but if we are a lot of players, we can do the championsleague system: splitted to groups with 4 players and the 2 best are in the next level
-no wind
-normal pitch
-Amiga or WinUAE

Can I use my own old Amiga Joystick during the tournament?

At which date the rules become fixed set, and become no more modified ????

I'll put an update tournament list in as soon as Jan manages to rescue it from the last forum. As far as rules go i now think the following...
2X5 mins
No wind
Standard Pitch
Random Ref
Nothing outlawed (but long range goals should incurr the wrath of the onlookers and a severe barracking should be given!)
No tactic loading etc, just the standard tactics
Standard International Level friendly team
Full speed
aftertouch

I'm all for the tournament being in group stages for the opening round (there would simply not be enough time for everybody to play everybody) then further group stage then knock out until a winner is found but i would like a two legged semi final.

With 4 amigas going we could manage this and also another amiga or 2 for some friendly games. I don't think it will be possible to do a UKO tournament at the same time as the game will not have been released by the time of the tournament but there will be a couple of P.C's there so we can play some friendlies etc.

What's wrong with Soggy ? I find it makes the game more enjoyable as the ball stays in play. Dribbling is much more fun too !;

@Steve Camber

playin on soggy will slow down the whole game and it's easier than playin on normal pitch. (there are no cool goals --> if I play on soggy)

Can i use a keyboard Steve? I was raised to play with a joystick but i hate those damn things (sorry everybody), i know those things are more sensative and stuff, and they are better than a keyboard but... I always lose when i play with the stick, i just prefer the keyboard i cant help it. So if the sticks are better it isnt a problem if i would like to play with the keyboard Steve?;

I believe we should divide into World Cup style groups of either 4 (play each other twice) or 6 (play each other once). Each group should have a dedicated Amiga. Then the qualifiers go into a knockout phase.

My suggestions for rules are:

2x5
After touch
NOT extra time
Normal Pitch (unless BOTH players agree Random)
No wind (unless BOTH players agree Wind)
Random Referee (unless BOTH players agree on a ref)
Standard teams (unless BOTH players agree to load their own)
Standard tactics (unless BOTH players agree to load their own)

There is a common theme here. If BOTH players agree, the rules should have limited flexibilty. Otherwise you revert to the game in its simplest form. How can anyone disagree with the above.;

That sounds pretty fair to me, the format of the tournament i think should be the number of competitors/4 . So one group to an amiga and thus 32 players would come down to 4 groups of 8, the top four from each going into the next groups which should by 4 groups of 4, after this the top two should go through and from there it is knock out.;
