Just had a look and the last day of the season is the following week, the 13th May. Doesn't look as though there are any Premier League matches played on the 6th May.

i meant the championship... certain nameless players last year were absent for about a hour so there was quite a backlog of games

Ohhh. Of course! I forgot about the lower leagues! OK, if we're waiting until the season finishes, I guess we should also leave it until the FA Cup final, (or whatever it's called this year) has been played.

New date suggestion: the weekend of the 26th/27th May 2018. How does that sound?

I know I say I'd put this on hold until Boxing Day, and I will, but in the meantime... In an effort to put on a better show than last year, is there anything, (and please do be honest) that needs improving. The coffee was good. There will be cupcakes or cookies, (or maybe both) this year... I really don't know if anything else is needed.
