Seize the opportunity Robert!
Needless to say that it was fun to revive our old rivalry, a true KO2 classic. Meeting all of you guys at Milan left me with a sweet aftertaste that will last (Pedro, no gay remarks please). And if i manage to spare some time to recap and write down a few things about my experience during this year's world cup, believe me, I can write a book out of it. Let me just give you a small preview in 3 bullets:
$ I met and become friends with a famous Italian sculptor that recently created the Pope's bust.
$ I experienced the best panini in my life along with the love of my life.
$ I won the Silver Cup, which, as a matter of fact, makes me Sevilla FC, the UEFA Europa League Winner of KO2.
Having said that, I look forward to meeting you guys in Athens next summer (May or June); I'm thinking of hosting a weekend tournament at my hotel at http://www.thalattahotel.gr, a good opportunity for those of you who would love to share vacation time between the beach and the KO2 pitch.
Again, kudos to the italian organizers, especially Gianni, our new champ Thor, my fellow Greeks Alkis, Spyros and Ektoras, and thank all of you for sharing this unique experience.
Even more, I want to thank Alkis for being such a sport and gentleman, accepting my petty remarks on his failure to win the World Cup with humor. And with the occassion of our 15 years friendship annivesary, I want to say "I Love Alkis!"
(ok Pedro, you can carry on from this point)
