Chris, can you confirm which London airport is best for you, and what time you would arrive/leave that airport, and I will make you a travel plan. I was going to email you, but better to do this on the forum, as answers may benefit others. As discussed, any of the London airports work for this tournament, as the way to get to it on public transport is to take a 30 min train from London Euston.

Gianni! The real England awaits you.

I got low cost flights for any London airport, although, the best one would be Gatwick as I have a direct flight from Linate Airport with Easyjet. Linate is the city airport of Milan.

OK, would you fly to Gatwick on Friday night or Saturday morning (would have to be early?)

Although Linate-Gatwick is better for me on Home to Airport side, it is quite worse on Airport-Hotel side as Gatweack is on south west, while Apsely is in the North!
So probably for me would be better to fly on Stansted.
Real England is in the North then!

If you go via Gatwick

1) Take GATWICK EXPRESS to Victoria Station (30 minutes)
2) Take Victoria Line (light blue) to Euston (10 minutes, 4 stops)
3) Take Train from Euston to Apsley (30 minutes)

If you go via Stansted

1) Take STANSTED EXPRESS to Liverpool Street (30 minutes)
2) Take underground to Euston Station (15 minutes, 5 stops, change at King's Cross)
3) Take Train from Euston to Apsley (30 minutes)

There is almost no difference in the travel time as the process is the same. You must take an airport express train into central London before getting the tube to Euston and the train out again.

I recommend you book according to

a) Price
b) Convenience at Milan end
c) Times of day available

Chris, above info applies to you as well, including if you go to Heathrow (take the Heathrow Express to Paddington then the tube to Euston). The only one where it might not follow the above is Luton where there may be a bus to Hemel, which would save you going into London and out again. If Luton is a possibility, let me know and I will research buses.

Thank you Robert!

I can bring x1 Amiga and x1 14inch CRT TV.

Chris is planning to book a flight for Friday morning/afternoon. If he books this, I'll drive to the hotel for Friday afternoon and we'll be there playing friendlies if anyone fancies joining in. :)
