Sure. I may have a preferred setting, but no setting would prevent me from going to a WC if my wallet would allow me. But do not say it too loud, or the revolutionaries will take advantage of it ;)

I dig meeting up with my best of friends, playing our game. Whatever pitch, wind or whatever, that's what I want. Screw all the different enhancements. There are so many changes you can do within the boundaries of lo2...

usually i'd be one to agree with this sentiment 100%... believe it or not, i usually just go with the flow n have a right old laugh

I think though, because I'm new to the KOA style of play, it's hit me round the head like a sledgehammer and knocked me for six... been a lot to take in

That happened to most of us. I arrived to my first WC, in 2002, thinking that I would be world champion, or at least, with bad luck, reach semifinals. The knock against reality was tough, from the very first moment: I had wonka as roommate in Vasilis house, and when we begun playing I realized that I was, at most, just middle-low class. There are huge monsters that will never give you a chance to survive. Whatever you thought it was a good idea, a good tactic, a good move, has already been exploited and known how to prevent by dozens of others.

But also you find that there are plenty of fun and nice people, and also many players of your own level, for you to enjoy the game as you never did before. And you keep on coming and coming.

I totally see what you're saying Lee. But I feel the need to adjust you a bit.

There is no KOA-style of playing. We play very different, all of us. But the top players are to players because they are so damn good at finding ways to score. And to automate them...
The players below the top level, not so much ;)

agreed.. i was more referring to the keeper bug tho, how it's 'used'

but i knew i'd be runty for sure, i'd played quite a few people online to know that, i just backed a proposal to fix a bug and it all got out of hand

I know what you mean Mark, if people took the same amount of time and effort in actually organising tournaments the KOA would be a lot healthier
