I'm glad this has been raised now guys to be honest with you and it did make me feel a little uncomfortable when I read stories about people simply holding down the fire button to trap the ball, but I feel that now Steve Camber has done it so you cant really do this (well you can, but your player will suddenly do an auto slide), it means you won't have players gaining an unfair advantage.

So is it a go then? I have a sudden urge to visit an Hotel I haven't been to since 2011 :)

Steve; I guess you can see there's a discussion going on about settings; especially the ATP-settings. I don't know if this discussion will affect your drive on holding the WC. I sure hope not. Anyway, take a look here:

Cheers Jorn - appreciate that and don't worry it won't affect my enthusiasm. What did affect my enthusiasm a little was when Gaz's wife had an email imploring her to make a rival World Cup bid.
Thankfully she is not going to do this though

In relation to any rule changes btw... our stance is quite simple. It'll be identical to the 2011 World Cup rule wise. Why? Because Steve Camber has ensured the trap is not abused and stopped people cheating.

This wasn't an attempt at "imploring" others to bid against you.1066 people got the same email. The email opened the bidding to the public and set a deadline and thus made the whole process transparent.

There are no "rivals" here , only friends.

I will be delighted to visit Birmingham for a WC once more, most of all because I will get the chance to see my three friends again, but also because the 2011 event was arguably the best organized world cup we've ever had. I don't know who decided to send that mass email to all the members, but it was a silly decision. Don't let it discourage you, Steve!

Obviously I sent that email Alkis. Your snide remarks are once again holding the KOA in disripute.

Anyway, let us focus on the Birmingham bid.....

Loved bham and you guys are proven world
Class and world cup hosts thanks for coming back guys'
No longer the only UK based Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Crewe supporter in the whole of the KOA!!!

Steve (and I suppose you are also speaking on behalf of Garry and Simon), just to be clear, are you saying that you are not interested in having a vote on this rule? Does the Birmingham bid come with a prefixed, "take it or leave it" rule? If there is a poll (you know it's always held late, as only confirmed attendees can vote) and the decision is against the trapfix, will you still be interested in hosting the World Cup?

I would happily attend a World Cup in which the majority voted for the APT menu, but I'm not sure I would want to go to one where the organizers actually enforce a rule. This hasn't happened since... well, since Rome. So please, make it clear while it's still early.

Thank you Alkis. I've been meaning to ask this, but couldn't find a good way.

A good way is to just ask "How do you propose the the rules for the competition you are planning will be decided".

We're currently discussing this behind the scenes at the moment but I want to stress, we want our world cup to be the start of us organising regular tournaments and attending tournaments. We don’t want to antagonise anyone and we want to please every all the time – it might be an impossible task but this is what we want to do.

So point blankly confirm it has to be done this way or no way wouldn’t be in our style of the above statement :)
