16th KO2 World Cup - Birmingham World Cup Bid

Re: 16th KO2 World Cup - Birmingham World Cup Bid
My vote: no trapfix, no penalty box dribble, no autofix. I suspect I'm going to be outvoted.
Re: 16th KO2 World Cup - Birmingham World Cup Bid
is there gonna be any kind of discussion/vote for implementing the keeper staying on the pitch fix?

That would be something I'd back wholeheartedly.

Re: 16th KO2 World Cup - Birmingham World Cup Bid
I've just wanted to keep it off due to
- it not being clarified as an actual bug
To be said: in Dublin, Dino Dini himself said it is intended to be as it is, giving deepness in the challenge for the ball it is the that part of trapping algorithm is somehow simulating the pressure to have an opponent in proximity to you. Definitely not a bug. So I think we can change the state of it: IT IS NOT A BUG.
- you should be able to train for the world cup using your original ko2-disc
I was forgetting about this question, and I think this is a really strong argument, I would say, a bullet proof argumentation. in light of this, I think we should be REALLY careful.
and that
- avoiding the "trap-slide" is something you can learn to master.
Of course
But as said, if consensus is that it's a good compromise, then let's go
Of course

As long as there will be no discussion to implement the lob prevent fix, I really doubt there will be a discussion to implement that

Re: 16th KO2 World Cup - Birmingham World Cup Bid
yet dino himself said that was a bug too... i've seen a keeper lobbed in real football many times, never have i seen a keeper run behind the goal. On a lob, the keeper has a chance to save it, and often does... when he's off the pitch, he's got no chance... not really a fair comparison.
sad to say it, but this will alienate new players, it's heavily exploited and completely depressing

Re: 16th KO2 World Cup - Birmingham World Cup Bid
I've 3 issues:
- I applaud the strong Birmingham bid but I would also like to see other bids.
- Bham have already indicated that they would like to have had their website up by December, this has come and gone as they haven't received an answer. This is our fault! let's speed up this process. Birmingham may loose interest and then where do we stand ?
- The World cup social media accounts exist for consistency. We can't use different accounts every year. I feel that it's incumbent on the host to agree to use existing accounts.
