Two weeks ago we were all together and now it seems so far again. 50 weeks to next Christmas, damn! I need to invent something to kill the time. Probably to work or grow up kids could help a lot!
I don't want to write the usual book with billions of words in a shaky English, this time I want to try the Illustrated book format.
This World Cup starts with a personal T-Shirt designed by Mary. Theme of course is Ireland from the fun side: Green grass, lovely sheep and of course the Kick Off 2 ball. A worthy way to celebrate the upcoming world cup. I couldn't figure out that we had many other t-shirt to wear then, thanks to Kick Off Revival and Dino! thanks!
Michael wins KOA FACE Award 2015, I'm used to price the first KOA face I see in a world cup. I met him at the airport, together with his lovely wife Regina. They joined the italian gang and we visited Dublin together.
Group picture. among the KOA faces you see there is an outsider, he is Lapo, a friend of my family, he isn't a kick off player but he loves the koa spirit, he went also in Milan 2012. as said On Friday night Regina and Michael were speaking a very fluent Italian.
Trinity College, you could smell history there. everywhere.
Like above, but here the smell was less metaphoric and more real... I was looking for "the aftertouch" but I didn't find it. unluckily.
Next time I'll go at the Irish pub in Milan, I will not dare to call it Irish pub again. Pub will be enough... You can call it "Irish" just only if you are in Ireland.
Once the receptionist gave me the key of my room, I immediately got that there were no doubts about my position in the final standing. Next time I will ask for the 111.
I was so glad to see Robert again that it seemed to me he was shedding light from inside.
The Chocolate Factory. A venue that proved to have character.
The Spirit of Football
The Spirit of KOA
Although it doesn't seem so, everyone is smiling in this picture!
My favourite players, a pleasure and an honour to play with them!
The new Kick Off 2 World Champion!
Alessandro the friendly bastard and Fabio, the bastardly bastard. Just try to wisper the name "Fabio" in Copenhagen. Vikings are still terrified. now.
On monday we did a lovely excursion, we went to Howth, in front of Dublin bay, a lovely place.
Once at home I eventually realized that my double digit defeat in the final was just a nasty trick, luckily my loved Holy Shield was safe at home waiting for me, together with the Guardians Bud & Terence looking after her...
