13th KO2 World Cup: The Seeding Groups that weren't

Postby alkis21 » Tue Oct 29, 2013 2:10 pm

I know that there is no need for Seeding Groups this year, as we are all playing in one big group in the first round, but I thought I'd post a tentative seeding anyway just for fun! Feel free to disagree/protest/nag as if they were real. :D

Here is how I would rank the players:

Group 1
Gianni T
Alkis P
Andy G
Oliver St

Group 2
Steve C
Michael Ma
Mark W
Lorenzo L

Group 3
Klaus Le
Rodolfo M
Jorn F
Jorg P

Group 4
Michele L
Peter S
Helmut H
Christopher D

Group VIP
Dino D
Michael F

Alkis, how did you get me in group 2? Just a question, not bickering about it :)

I would have though I was still group 3 at best, probably 4 based on past performance in WC?

Your recent form, as exhibited in the UK Champs, suggests otherwise. Don't you read The Lob?

When the job was required, you made a step back, when the task in not necessary, you do it for fun.
You remind me this situation:

Man:"Lets fall in love!"
Lady:"No, I want to be caressed with affection..."

2 hours later

Man:"I would like to caress you with affection..."
Lady:"No, I want sex!"

Anyway appreciated much the work, I agree more or less all the line.

No way I'd seed myself before Durban, he finished 2nd in Birmingham above some players I never bet before. I have that certain feeling we'll see him on the Very Big Screen(tm) this year.

AND:
Alkis kicks out Gianni in the Semis this time.
BUT:
Andi wins the WC. He's superhuman enough to prove to Spyros that one can win WC's beeing a double Dad.

ps.:
Just realized Robert isn't come - such a pity...

I think that the big group day one this year sounds like the perfect seeding! no one will bother about their "seed" for day two as everyone will be seeded actually in the way they performed in day one!
Every cloud has a silver lining!

Looks fine. And as Gianni said, I think we have the actual strength on sunday for gold and silver cup. I can life with this last place, I call it organizer syndrome :) (I believe, that it shows also my actual "strength")
