Hmm.. A potential solution could be a second data projector, if the organizers can provide one. I would also suggest no amplified audio in the projected matches of Saturday. It's not just the delay in switching cables, it would be distracting for everyone else who is playing at the same time.

Well, I'll met the technician next week in the hall. what I remember, is that there are connectors in the wall and on the stage to the beamer (so it should be no Problem to Switch). It will be cleared next week.

Today I talked with the tecnician. It should be no problem, to switch between this two inputs (notebook and amiga). So we could have some games on saturday and sunday on the "big wall".

Have we actually got a plan for day 2 yet? I can see several 'sensible' suggestions, but nothing definite.

Day 1 = 1 Big League

Day 2 = ?

4 Smaller leagues with each person playing x 2 (4 in each group, 2 groups with 5 players?)

Or are we splitting into 8 players in the GOLD Cup 2 groups of 4, remaining (10) in the Silver cup, 2 groups of 5?

sorry if I have missed this...

Thanks Alkis, I presumed that was the format but there were discussions after.

It seems we are looking at approx 17 games on Day 1 per player, and 14-16 on day 2.

Good stuff.

How many drinks can we get in, with all those games?

I am very happy with this format. Putting everyone into one group on the first day makes the seedings and the drawing obselete. Do I get this right?

I am getting very excited about the idea to definitely play every attending player on saturday. The tension mounts...

I seem to recall the bar served very nice coffee (Illy or Lavazza) in the mornings, but really nice beer in the afternoon.....can't remember what it was but it was either some Austrian Beer which was a pure brew, or some German stuff...both were nice.

Yes, that's the idea. We aim to use the low attendance to our advantage: On the downside, it's a smaller world cup, but the plus is we get to play every single opponent for the first time ever.
