Todays the cups arrived. Just in time. Peparations finished. Cause it looks like we don't have the best weather, maybe even snow (were are upt to 1300 meters), I arranged a alternative bad weather programm for friday, including visiting a brewery (without getting beer, because the pub is being renewed :-))

Look like we are 10 people altogether, so we could looking forward to some nice footie games and a lot to see in the blackforest hills.

Congratulations to Gianni, amazing 10.70 - 1.25 average in 20 games!

Very well done too to Alessandro for that second place. Above all, I am sure you all had a great championship :)

As I wrote on Facebook: What an awesome gathering! Only one German in the top 5, great performance by the Austrians. I can't believe Gianluca traveled to Germany to play Kick Off after losing 30/30 games in Milan!

Also, looking at the results I see that Thorsten was much closer to fourth place than it seems just by reading the standings. Double wins against Cornelius as usual, and also a win against Helmut and very close defeats to Klaus and Frank.
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November

Thanks to all players who made this tournament a great and international one !
Very good performance by Gianni - as always, and also by Alessandro - competing against Helmut as my new Arch-Enemy :)
Even the games losing to them both are always interesting and fun - and no need to complain.

Freiburg was new even to my - beautiful city with a very good pub-culture - not pop-culture !
Watching the ChampionsLeague Final was just a side note. As a German soccer fan generally not supporting any of both teams,
it was rather boring to watch, although I tended to Dortmund in its role as underdog.
If the game was a valid and true final are foreign watchers to decide. (feedback welcome in a separate thread maybe)

Greetings

Frank

AleXandro V??? A new player? And he is even able to beat Frank :D ! I guess Alkis will be very delighted about this typo    .

Klaus L 1 - 17 Gianni T : very heartless Gianni...I would never do this  .

Helmut H 3 - 1 Frank F : Another typo? Otherwise what went wrong here Frank? Had a Rodenbach moment here  ?

Congratulations to Gianni on winning this as expected. Hats off Alessandro for finishing above Frank.

Very enjoyable week end, a pleasure to stay with my KOA friends, nice to meet new nice fellows like Michael E and Hosts.
Great organization as Germans are used to offer us, Thorsten a true KOA column.
Full review will follow soon. probably today.
