I checked for cars via ebookers.com and some others. ebookers came out best. I'm down for the car-option. Plane-wise I'll have to do some research, to find the fairest price/time-ratio :-)

That future Vienna to Voitsberg car journey with Jorn and Mark has already become one of my favourite World Cup memories ;)

We lack 1 person in order to fill the car. Quality :) But remember guys, this will not be a big hauler, it'll be a small car, so NO huge suitcases :)

Question for the organizing crew: Are the dates fixed?

Question for Mark and Rodolfo: Are we on?

Basicly; I've found tickets with times and prices I can absolutely live with, and I'm ready to book a car as well. We can always check for cheaper car-deals as we move closer in time, but from what I can read, prices are more likely to rise.

I can get Cph - Vienna for about € 80-85.

In ideal conditions this would be my perfect plan: one or two days in Vienna, then car with you to Voitsberg.

Unfortunately, I can not commit so much advance. The unknowns, mostly regarding my availability of time and money for november, are still too many, and that will not probably be solved until the summer. No need to say that you are free to find more suitable and reliable people for this plan.

Jorn

Cant confirm flights yet mate so no idea of times.

But happy to drive from vienna with you for sure. Lets price up graz when it becomes available in the next few months just in case we can save money and time but if vienna is YOUR best option then its mine for sure too mate.

So in other words if you are doing vienna the i will do that too.(but if we can bot hdo graz or klugenfort for cheaper the lets do that)

I was gonna say maybe rob would be vienna bound from dubai but then remembers he is the worst passenger ever, and the most dangerous manz driver in the koa so lets keep this plan top secret hahah

Haha! Rob's welcome to NOT be our designated driver :-)
My gps = I drive...
I'll give it some thought, about wether or not, but I think I'll go for this option if u'r in on it, Mark. That's enough foe me to confirm, and then Rod and Rob, or anyone else, can make a run for the other 2 seats of the car. :-)

I am interested in the Freshie-durban ride, if it's from Vienna.

Image

My main concern is the journey back from Voitsberg. As Armin said, I'm fairly certain that hitchhiking a KOAer from Vienna will be relatively easy, last time Helmut was kind enough to oblige, but the journey back involved me walking in the woods to a creepy abandoned train station in the dark of night. Kind of scary Image So yeah, I'd love it if I could tag along with you fine gentlemen. Hopefully we can find a time schedule that is convenient for all of us.

Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November
