Yes! Forgive me for what must be the latest post WC comments ever. I will copy your format, Michael, and comment on the outstanding memories:
The Organisers!
Bravo Gianni, his lovely wife and the others who helped! The wonderful graphic displays, the fantastic pixel football model and the Lego trophies still make me smile. A great deal of love and attention as well as massive effort was put into making the venue something special and it was greatly appreciated!
Food & Drink!
This alone is a good enough reason to attend a future tournament in Milan. I miss the pizza, desserts and coffee!
KO2!
Possibly the toughest WC so far? The clash of the titans is what stood out the most for me. Gianluca amazed me with how he could come back from years of inactivity and pit his wits and skills against the very best! And as for Dagh, need I say more? His record speaks for itself.
Every WC is special in its own unique way, and is something we must always treasure. Yes, we attend because we love competing but also we attend because we love our KO2 family. I read in another post that some players choose not to attend WCs if they feel they are not prepared. I say attend every one you can, prepared or unprepared, there is too much to miss out on and more to the weekend than just the thrill of competing.
