Of course it is. If not, it's crap.

Well that works out well, you are going to need the extra room in your bag to take the trophies home :)

This is true mate.........Glad you thought of that....seems silly to pack a bag full of footy gear and pay Easyjet an extra 30 quid each way, when really I just need to bring a normal size bag with room for a trophy or 3 all for the price of 0 UKpounds!

Mark, what's with you three days before the world cup? It's like you gobbled a bottle of ecstasy pills.

We're going to play football. Bring your gear or you'll be green with envy watching us play. Colored shirts (what you put over your regular shirts, to be exact) will be provided so there's no need for 20 people to agree on what to wear beforehand FFS.

Where was this information Alkis, or are you making this up?!

I tried to organise colours and stuff.....basically its Me and Jorn vs Gianni in a 4 team match! not sure how that works.

My bag has enough room for 2 joysticks and one pair of shoes.......I am not paying Easy Jet 60 quid to bring football gear that I am not going to use....I will bring it anyway but if its not on you are paying for my baggage home ;)

It's a reasonable assumption, 5-a-side fields usually provide those. Even if they don't, we'll work it out! It's certainly not a reason for anyone not to play.

Gianni posted that there are currently 16 confirmed players, I'm 100% certain that we'll find four more (hell, there will be a lot more but too bad for them taking so long to confirm). In any case, we'd need to have SEVEN dropouts for it not to happen which is highly unlikely. Get that gear ready.

aha Assumption....I also thought the best plan was to wear 'bibs' as we tend to call them (although I don't like the term....even if footballers are babies)

So yes I will bring my stuff, I love football I want to play.........Me and You are now lean mean goalscoring/saving machines!!!!

Its just that I only have a small bag which I packed last night (I'm not allowed any bigger on the plane) and with a joystick and a spare, and some nice shoes to go out for food wearing it leaves me with hardly any room for a shirt, jeans let alone football gear and the present for our norweigan friend (which is obviouisly my priority!)

Just hope its on mate, I like your 'glass half full' attitude.....

Alkis, thanks to support me in front of such unbelievers!
As I paid for the soccer pitch, I ensure you that we will play!
As said by Alkis we are 16 confirmed for the soccer, (Dagh confirmed now so we are 17 ATM).
In case of deaths of the last moment, instead of to do a 4 sides tournament, we will do a 3 sides tournament using just one pitch playing 3 games. I'm confident we will reach 20 very soon and in case we don't, it is 18 yeas that I organize 5 a side soccer games every given Tuesday so I know A LOAD of players, some of those were even kick off players. I don't think to have problems to find 2 players, if needed. So Mark, be sure to have you soccer shoes, it wouldn't be so nice to play with Hotel's slippers!
