I know that probably everyone is out there partying but we need the results as well!

However some first points that are clear.
Alkis and Gianni delivering as always. However one of them has probably already changed his signature.
Ektoras! WTF man. We were expecting much more. Anyway it will probably not cost much.
I guess the talk of the day is Si. THE fuck. The best defense in both the world... and England! (Alkis doesn't count. He lost a match!)

I've said it before and i rest my case. Rodolfo is doing it on purpose...

Thanks for the update alkis. Looking like great performances from the Birmingham boys. Certainly doesn't seem to be any organiser syndrome. Should be an interesting day 2 but it's a shame the top 4 from group d have all been drawn together again.

Absolutely shocking day 1. Where should one start?!

Things that sticking out for me when looking thrue tables and suggested results, is following (not in shocking-order):

1: Simon Butt nr 3 in his group ahead of very strong George Ka! Great performance Simon!
2: Simon again, but this time "Birmingham-Simon", topping his group, undefeated, is a superb performance! This ahead of great gun Jon G and strong german Frank. Well done!
3: Frederic is supposed to have beaten Alkis. Frederic ended up 7:th in his group, not THAT great. BUT, the fact that Frederic killed me last year, in combination with this result (if it is correct) i suggests he is a great crystal clear case, Giant Killer! Another good scalp. Well done Frederic!
4: Thorsten 5:th now, not a surprise really, but still worth mention following ... He is slowly closing in on the top-16. My money on that Thorsten gets there within 2 years!
5: Lorenzo C :?: :?: :?: - there is no such Lorenzo in the system! Only that with a L or V. New Italian player reaching 2:nd? Hmm, surprising if that is the case. What is it with these italians...spagetthi?
6: Andy G winning his group ahead of Oliver and Ektoras, mabe not a surprise really... anyhow, it´s a great performance. Well done, Andy!

I wont mention the backlashes some may have suffered. No need really, it hurts enough without me writing about it.
Sticking out extra is this unknown (to me) Lorenzo C (misprint that C?!?) with equal points as nr 1 Andy G and Simon K´s undefeated first day AND the fact that Frederic´s supposed to have beaten Alkis.

- For tomorrow, best of luck everyone!
