Hope its not as bad as you fear, Volker. :( Whatever your results, its great to hear about your adventures! :)

And just to wish everyone a great time in Lund. For me, it adds to the UKC excitement knowing that you guys are playing on the same day too. 8) 8) 8)

Dagh N 75%
Lets face it, Dagh is likely the most promising player the KOA ever seen. He´s getting better and better. Big favorite to win this.

John H 20%
Won the Nordic champioship two years in a row, I have belife i can make it again, but must defeat Dagh if have a chance.

This group: 5%
Torgny A (Sweden)
Jacob K (Sweden)
Regis B (France)

Any of above winning would be huge surprice. I´ll eat my hat if Thorsten or Volker wins.

John now estimates his chances of winning to be far less than 20%. He played a friendly against Dagh which he lost 10-2. He puts himself in the second group together with all contestants except Dagh.

Conclusion. Dagh will win.

Well, after playing Dagh in a friedly and seen him play a few other matches last night, it is for me crystal clear that Dagh improved as a player even further. Tnx for your encouraging Garry, but anything else than Dagh wins is utopia :?o:

i've had many exciting games against John H this week but yesterday i had one which i wont forget. After 3 min in first half i was 5-0 up and then John scored 9 consecutive goals and finally i scored an injury time goal making the score 6-9. :eeko:

10-2....hell.....what a killer......

Come on Thorsten!!! You can make it!
Auf geht's!!! JAWOLL!

And a faulty joystick can't hold back Volker from playing strong as the malfunction only equalises Barrett's disabilities  .

Dagh won all his 12 matches and deservedly won the tournament. Expected, but still impressive. Big numbers in the first half got halted after the break when he scored a bit less. I would suggest that tiredness after late Friday night likely affected his performance in the end of this tournament.

We taped several matches but unfortunately it seems like the disc have got damaged :titc: Unsure if it can be fixed. Hopefully we can have some results coming in soon.

Regis travelled far partly for this. A nice guy, a pleasure having him with us in Lund. Otherwise It was very nice to meet up with everyone again, important that Thorsten and Volker made it wich made this more lively, hopefully Regis can post the video he taped on me and Thorsten while playing ko2. Enjoyable.

Two games i recall the most.

8-5?! vs Jacob. He started well scoring vs me in this match, I came back to 4-4 in the end of the first half. Jacob then, in injurytime, rounded my keeper and sent the ball into the net - just to hear the whistle just before the ball passed the goalline. Jacob gone mad and was on the brink attacking me physically

3-4 vs Dagh, second match. I played well in this match, using lockout most of the time. Had 3-3 with about 20 seconds left, but was no able to hold onto that result. However, very pleased giving Dagh a good match yesterday.

Congratulations Dagh. Being favourite is one thing, producing the goods another! :no1: Well played John too, especially the relatively low-scoring, single goal defeat to Dagh - that's a feat in itself. 8) Looks like Regis made a very respectable offline debut too. :) Hardlines to Thorsten but that was one tough league, and nice one Volker - you managed to avoid your fears of bottom spot! :D

Look forward to seeing full table and results details, and any videos too.

Nice day yesterday. Thanks to Jacob and John for the efforts...

My biggest fight was against Volker since he is no 52 on the ranking with 1007 points and I am no 48 with 1009 points. I manage to beet him 4-2 and 5-2 but had a 0-2 staning in the second match. Then scored at every chance for a short period in first half and went to 4-2 just befor the whistle...

I had my two hardest games against Regis (1-2, 4-4). Found it really difficult to play against him.

1-2 versus Jacob was my biggest chance of real success but there will come a day for that!

Nice video Rayge.

Sorry Thorsten but had to laugh at that moment at 0:13. Your utter disgust at presumably conceding a goal - I know that feeling well! :( Can't have one without the other - I guess its all part of the KO2 passion.

And at 0:59 was Volker's smile as a result of Jacob's striker hitting wide what looked a certain goal ?

Samlingslokalen Holken (The Nesting Box Meeting hall), which is free for members of the tenant-owner's association, you just have to book it in advance. Very well furnished with great tables for KO2 (I think you would appreciate that aspect) and even a screen to use with projector. I will host more tournaments there.
