Tournament number ten is a jubilee and so it will be not normal!

There will be the special rule that you must drink a pin(small glass of 2cl) with schnapps for every goal you shoot! No, this is not a crackpot idea, I mean it serious!

This rule is fix for Saturday, the finals on Sunday will be played in normal mode.

You say ”drinking, real soccer, grill evening and a little bit KO2 is great” you are our man and warm invited to have party with us.

Tournament costs 30€(all inclusive)

Players who already confirmed:
Thorsten B
Frank F
Cornelius H
Peter S
Freddy B
Jorg P
Volker B
Oliver St(is a little bit scary after his new goal record  )
tbc:
Frank H
Carsten
Uli
Thomas

You have a problem with this rule and a two day event, I have a great news for you!
Thorsten will held the first international open at German ground near Darmstadt at one Saturday in August.

I always learned that the equivalent of one beer was 2cl of a schnapps. Does this mean I would have to score 100 goals just to get one full schnapps? I come fairly easily under the influence, but come on, 300-400 KO2 goals is pretty much to ask for just getting a little bit intoxicated!

What a sick bunch of people you are!!!

I think this may be the first KO2 tournament in history where the winners on day 1 may not live to play the finals on day 2.

But it does give the players a lot more to think and plan about tactically. Damn, it takes KO2 into a whole new dimension of strategy and deliberation! As if 8 tactics and Waynie's scummy guide wasn't enough already!

Obviously, one strategy is going for Lockout and trying to go for only 1-0 victories. If you get behind 0-2, just give up and let the other guy get a few more goals. Surely it must be better to lose 0-5 than to win 4-3.

Another idea is to employ the strategy of mutually assured destruction. Just tell your opponent before the game that you will score exactly as many goals as him, so he may as well just not score. Then you can cruise your way to the finals with a series of 0-0 draws.

If none of these ideas work and you get behind on both the score board and in the drinking, you can always use the nuclear option: Tell your next opponent that you need to win this game and he better not stop you. Mix your threat with a casual remark that for every goal he scores, you will make 3 additional own goals, and I am sure he should get the point (unless he has already won too many games, of course).

Decisions, decisions...

Anyway, please don't forget to record everything on video!

With these conditions i will surely end up in the hospital after the first match suffering from an alcohol poisoning  .

But joke aside. As i can't stand drinking much alcohol i will probably not win this tournament. I would be quite happy to be still alive on sunday  .

Sounds like the challenge is less to avoid being bottom of the table but to avoid ending up under it!!! hehe Last man standing deserves a trophy imo. As Dagh, do post some piccies at least - how about a team photo at the beginning and end of day 1!!!

Hi Volker!
sorry to write in German:

Peter und ich sind am Start. Wann sollen wir Samstag antanzen?

WolF hätte ja durchaus Siegchancen gehabt, da er ja keinen Alkohol trinkt, muss aber am Wochenende leider passen.
Ist ja auch vielleicht besser so, sonst würden die Regeln ja nicht eingehalten...!

Ich geh mal ins deutsche Forum und schau da nochmal...

Okay, now Volker it´s up to you to translate it or not ;-)
