If Dagh, Gianni, Alkis, Rodolfo and Alex are attending then I will surely make my best efforts to bring at least myself along.. (from the Beard Clan)

1. Are you interested to participate? YES
2. Is this date of 7th March a problem for you? NO
3. Are you happy to play the tournament on Saturday? YES
4. Is the no-slide setting a problem for you? NO
5. Is your name Rodolfo or Alex? NO

Seriously, with Luton being just up the road, I'd be a fool not to come and give everyone a decent change to practice scoring some goals :)

Excellent news, Ely! I remember it was players making comebacks was one of the things that made UKC '08 so special. 8)

Since I'm invited by personal request, I'd also like to take to opportunity to personally request that all my favorite Brits turn up: The Beard Brothers (TM), Mark Williams, Mark Bishop, Haydn, Nazim (! somebody get hold of Nazim, please), Steve Evil, Martin J if he's still alive, Waynie unless he's in Hong Kong, Camberman, the Greenaways and of course Spyros. Garry, Ely - no excuses, lads, you are coming, too. Hope Robert can handle this many people! :)

Robert Swift wrote:John, I understand your KO2 cost situation and will do everything I can to help. First point is that, if you fly into Luton or Heathrow, I can save you some money by collecting you. Second, on the accommodation, the hotel is not that expensive and I am sure we can find you a sharer. If necessary, you know you can stay at my place. So do all the KOA, it's just that I cannot accommodate 10-15 guys. I also feel bad because I have stayed in Sandro's super-bedroom 3 times now but, every time he and Gianni visit me, they stay in a hotel.

As things stand, I already promised Panayotis one of my two bed settees so, assuming he is still coming, you can have the other one. It's a first come, first-served basis. You asked first, and you have to take 4 flights, so it's yours. I'm just going into a little more detail here so that - if anyone else asks - they realize it's not personal if I say that Chateau Swift is full up.

Thank you very much, Robert. A kind gesture by you. It´s not the first time. Hopefully i´ll be able to return your hospitality one day...

Looking back at this year, taking part in 5 tournaments, in 5 different countries has been very, very joyful. I wont stop with this. Im looking at 2009 now and this London international is together with Landskrona my probable entries the first half of 2009. Not impossible im lucky having Jorn and co. visiting Ostersund as well.

I understand you situation about the Torchios. If you have full house with them visiting I´ll be looking at other solution arranging this. No problem.

(Btw, Panayotis - you´re still going?)

If Alex and Rodolfo are attending then the requirements for this tournament have been met and it may go ahead. I am hoping that some people may be interested in tourism on the Sunday? A nice day out in the English countryside somewhere not too far so that we can make the most of the day?

Also if anyone would like to meet Iggy and Diablo.....

James, I am glad that you are to attend. Non attendance would be very Runty. Why has Durban not confirmed yet?

Real football is a good suggestion, the english teletubbies should get a chance for revenge vs the international team.

On sunday I would definitely go to London. Probably even changing hotel and sleeping there.
