After a slow start the numbers of players for the tournament has shot up. The problem being that there are a few too many players from the UK i feel, nothing personal, just that i would like the tournament to be as global as possible. I can't up the numbers in the tournament as the venue can only hold 30 really, i had to fight for 32! I would now like to impose a 20 GB pound fee for inclusion in the tournament. This fee is a guarantee of inclusion in the tournament. It does not reduce my cost or anything like that, i said i would pay for the facilities and rooms etc, this fee would be used for t-shirts and trophies. I would also like to thin out the numbers a little from the UK, so those of you who i never see on this forum other than to sin up for the tournament had better buck their ideas up as i would much rather shell out my money to a hard working KOA member than someone who has done very little for this KO revival. This is merely a suggestion, if any one is violently opposed to this then we can think of another way around it maybe. I think it is a little harsh when Tim Klifman can't get a place but somebody who has only ever had a brief look at this site and signed up for the tournament only to disappear again can be guaranteed a slot. I know the people who contribute here, and you know who they are too. We have now become a close community and without this community there would be no UKO. This community needs to be rewarded and this tournament is part of that. Thanx for reading.

Seems fair to me. For all the work you've put in 20quid is nothing really. How do you want us to get the money to you Steve ?

Can't wait myself.

You can send a cheque for 20 pounds to me at
my home address, and if you don't know it i'll tell you via private message. As soon as i get the check i'll put a little star by your name to say that you have paid and your place is guaranteed. Ok

Ii would have prefer this:
a 20 £ check that you bring back to his owner if he comes.
and when he comes he's got the possibility to buy T-shirts;

The trouble with that Michael is that that way we couldn't finance the shirts and trophies, 20 pound is surely a small price to pay when i'm footing the venue and hotel rooms!;

20 £ =200 francs ?
isn't it?
why not ?

btw: for the shirts i'm sure there are costless shirts in france near i live there's a shop wich can do that for 15$ /one
i'm sure we can discuss price to get them around 10$

Well the US shirts are usually of a pretty high quality, if you want to discuss it with stainy then be my guest. I don't want a shirt that is going to go out of shape and fade before next years tournament.;

£20 is a bargain.

Money on its way as soon as I get yer address.

Personally I think for what we are getting and the work some people or putting in there should be some sort of thank you kitty for anyone who feels they can/want to contribute more.

Mark

I'll try to get the money to you as soon as possible. I'm not sure what's the best way, maby it's a good idea for Dutch-tournament-visitors to send their to one person in Holland, so he can transfer it to Steve.
