update?

Does that last post indicate a change in fortunes for the host?

BTW don't believe everything you read in the papers.

FAKO wishes to thank the participants and, of course, congratulate John with a deserved victory.

I've now organised, and hosted, my first international tourney, and I'm quite happy.

Shall I email the spreadsheet to Alkis?

Thank you Jorn for organising a top-tournament! It was a great laugh. John was the deserved winner, he played the best Kick Off. It was good to see two fresh faces who both seemed to have enjoyed themselves, want to play more and will help form Tromso to become a capital of KO2.

Seems like you had a good time. Jorn beating Alex sounds interesting...

Press-coverage confirmed. I'll translate it and write it up in the media-section later on.

OK, John H can be considered a southerner compared to the FAKO guys!

Well done gentlemen and well done Jorn for hosting your first international tournament!

Tnx all for the kind words. Jorn did a great job orgainising this. The venue was a 5/5. I´ll come back with more comments later when i got some more sleep.

This has to be mentioned, about our very long cardrive up to Tromso and back: Bjorn was amazing, he succeded driving wrong three(!) times during our journey (1 wrongdriving by me as well  ). When I took a nap or read the newspaper it often ended up with him saying: John, I think we are heading in the wrong direction!

The last miss of his took us 80 km in the wrong direction and we ended up in Arjeplog (a little town about 50 km from the Norwegian boarder) When trying to fix that mistake we ended up (in the middle of the night) driving even more wrong. What a mess.

The 2,000 - 2,500 km estaminated total drive ended up with a 2,730 km journey. This must be something of a record ;)

No complaints though, we had a great time(!)

John.... you really are KOA Hardcore now after this trip! Respect! And congrats on the win.

Alex and Freshie are both in the "I used to be n00by but now I will kick your ass" camp. Regular practice really is a wonderful thing. Can't wait to see these guys up against the Milanese and the Hertford guys. This is what World Cups are all about.
