New mobile 'phone

So, I picked up a new mobile today. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium. Only had it a few hours but so far it seems really good. 4K video is now being copied to the SD Card, for some more testing.

I'd had the Xperia Z Ultra for about the same time, before it started playing up, not always answering calls, and occasionally refusing to send SMS messages.
Going to try and find some time to go to Heaton Park this weekend, as I really want to test the slow motion video feature, and there are loads of ducks and geese there to try it with.

I just equipped my Z2 with a new battery, so I guess I stick with it for a while.

Been looking at the market a bit lately though, and whenever I go for a new phoneI might go all in on one of them Chinese ones. Xiaomi, Oneplus, Lenovo etc.

Lenovo and Huwaei (or whatever they're called!) make some nice handsets. Not sure about the others you mentioned though.

Camber can vouch for OnePlus.

Xiaomi gets really great credits.

Only thing is they are mostly made for the chinese market. Not the biggest of issue, but the only language you can have them in are chinese and english. For some (non-english) users that might be an issue.

I just read a test of a handset from Ulefone (Power 2), and was really amazed.

OnePlus One still going strong here, even got a second one for the mrs. Would definitely get myself another oneplus should an upgrade be needed.

Didn't get to Heaton Park to test the slo-mo video, as I'd forgotten that Parklife was on this weekend, but I did get to Hollingworth Lake, and took a fairly decent test video, which I have uploaded to Bookface.

Very impressed with the handset.
