KO - Gathering

Any of you techy guys can give a hand?

My tv-box has spdif out, and I wanna connect that to my 5.1 surround-reciever. Is that plug & play or do I need a converter of sorts?

Does your amp have an spdif input? What is the make and model?

good call. I got my wife to check, and it seems my reciever is sporting spdif-in, meaning I just need a spdif-spdif.
