Are we petitioning for or against?

I loved that game...although I never finished it, as I never finish anything ;)

I finished it twice. It has some difficult puzzles, but they are worth the effort.
The overall atmosphere of the game is great and it has some nice cheeky humor :)

I'm looking forward to this modern version, so I can play through the whole story again.

FOA being one of my all time favorite games, i am very afraid of playing through it again in modern gfx. I think the oldschool Lucas visuals were part of its charm (especially the comedy parts of it). Old gfx would let your imagination fill in the gaps that they couldn't fill artistically thus making games (maybe) better in your memory than they actually were.

Well said, I agree that new GFX do not automatically make the game or the atmosphere better.
But still I will give this new version a try, especially to find out if it can recapture the joy I experienced with the original.
