A post I read

This was about personal relationships, love, but I kinda found it fitting for how at least I view Kick Off 2

Today, we live in a world of "the next best thing", "the upgrade", "the something new and shiny". We have been raised to constantly look for something better....Very rarely do people look at each other and think they'll stay committed until the wheels come off...We just do not do that anymore. We are willing to jump ship for anything that seems like an upgrade or advancement to whatever we have...
So...do you have someone in your life you'd stay faithful if something you perceived as better came along?? As we've seen often, the upgrades are just more complex versions of what we once had....and offer us nothing more. If you, for a second, think you'd leave for that "upgrade", it was never a love or friendship you truly wanted in the first place.....just you settling until the next best thing came along.

Relevant for our current state of affairs? I don't know, but I liked it :)
