Group A: France, Romania, Albania, Switzerland
Piss easy draw for France. Switzerland second.
Group B: England, Russia, Wales, Slovakia
Never underestimate England's capacity to choke. England will lose to Wales. However - Russia are even bigger chokers. England and Wales to qualify.
Group C: Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Northern Ireland
In the race for second place Ukraine should edge out neighbours Poland on goal difference.
Group D: Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Croatia
Interesting group, and even though Spain are not the world-beaters they were, none of these should give them any trouble. Who comes second is anyone's guess.
Group E: Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Sweden
Wow SERIOUS group of death. Kofoed, how old is Ibrahimovich now? Not sure Sweden can make it out. I bet Ireland are unhappy with their draw. On paper it should be Italy and Belgium, who have most of the English Premier League's best players.
Group F: Portugal, Iceland, Austria, Hungary
WEAK group! Almost like a qualifying group. Portugal plus one other, obviously.
What a minute, Alkis21, what group is Greece in?

Obviously Germany will win and I'm saying that even considering their current crap form.
Greece are runty Bob, as runty as Ireland.

I see wales finishing ahead of England.... But perhaps we both qualify!
I see Italy struggling to be honest.
Will analyse the rest

It is a shame that the competition will have 24 teams. I know that it may sound arrogant when you are from one of the big football nations, but keep in mind that now, after the first round, only 8 out 24 teams will go home. That guarantees crappy matches because many teams will have not much at stake.
They would rather take 32 nations and have pure cup system from the beginning. That would be fun.

Wait, you mean that it's not just the top two from each group going through?

I'm the opposite , I found that last Euros was over too quickly as there were feck all teams left after the group stages.

No, you have to turn 24 into 16 to begin the 1/8 finals. Several thirds will advance.

Ah, that's right, only six groups. I wonder what England have to do to avoid Germany. Because I am sure we won't. We always try but end up running into them like a brick wall. In fact, can we just give them the trophy now, take them out of the tournament and call it a 'runner up tournament'. More fun for everyone else.
